Bidders are requested to submit their proposals in TWO BID, ie. Technical Bid and Price Bid. Each bid shall be put in separate sealed envelopes, superscribed with IFT No., Due Date and as "Technical Bid" or "Price Bid" as the case may be. Both the sealed envelopes shall be put in a third envelope, which shall be again sealed and superscribed with IFT No. & Due Date. This Cover shall be submitted on or before the due date and time for submission of the Technical Bid to the respective addresses. Date and Time of Opening of Technical Bid: 09th Jan 10:00 hrs (IST) (Note: If the particular day happens to be a declared holiday in Aircraft Division, HAL, Bangalore, the next working day shall be considered.) Price Bid Opening: Date & Time shall be intimated later to only those bidders who are qualified in the Technical Bid. Bids as per the format enclosed duly filled in and signed should reach us within the due date for submission of tender by POST/REGISTERED POST/COURIER. The bids received in any other mode E Mail/Fax will not be considered as valid offers for evaluation and summarily rejected. Bids received after due date and time shall not be considered and no further correspondence on such responses shall be entertained. HAL will not be responsible for any loss or delay in receipt of Bids. LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND OPENED. 2. Bids should be free from correction, over writing, erasures etc. Each page should be numbered. This should be ink signed by authorized signatory indicating name and designation with Office seal. 3. The bids received in time are considered as valid and the technical bids shall be opened on : 09th Jan 10:00 hrs (IST) at Aircraft Division HAL. The interested bidders

2 who desire to witness the opening of responses may attend the session along with their identity and signed authorization letter. 4. Canvassing by bidders in any form, including unsolicited letters on tender submitted or post corrections shall render their bid liable for summarily rejection. 5. The cost or charges incurred in preparation and submission of IFT shall not be entitled by any Bidder. 6. Conditional offers will be summarily rejected. 7. HAL is not bound to accept any response or part of the response and the decision of HAL is final in this regard. 8. Disregard of any instruction may result in offer being ignored. This IFT is governed by TERMS AND CONDITIONS as attached. No Agent/Agents or third party / parties are engaged by HAL in this process. HAL is also not responsible for any person/firm expression or representing to express himself / herself/ themselves to be the agent or third party representing HAL in this process.
