1 SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY PARKS OF INDIA (Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology) 2nd FLOOR, WEBEL STP II BUILDING, PLOT NO -53, BLOCK - DN, SECTOR-V, SALTLAKE, KOLKATA NOTICE INVITING QUOTATION FOR EMPANELMENT OF AGENCY FOR PROVIDING COURIER SERVICE AT STPI-KOLKATA Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Kolkata, invites sealed quotations from Courier Service providers for empanelment of agency for providing courier service at STPI Kolkata for the period of April 2018 to March The last date of submission of quotations is 22/02/2018 up to 12:00 PM and the same shall be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM. Bidders are required to submit their quotations along with this document and other relevant supporting documents duly signed with stamp by authorized person. Manjit Nayak Addl. 2 Terms and Conditions 1. The Courier agency shall send their pick up boy on daily basis between PM to PM except Sunday without fail. 2. If required by STPI to send urgent document the courier agency shall arrange to send pick up boy when required. 3. The agency shall provide Consignment Slip/ docket slip having number for each and every packet. 4. The agency shall have its own/ dealer s/ channel partner s website with online consignment tracking facility. 5. In case of return inwards the agency shall provide details of the return in writing. 6. The agency shall provide slip/ authenticate document as proof of delivery. 7. Payment shall be made against monthly invoice after verification of consignment slips/pod. 8. In the event of contractor not fulfilling the terms and conditions, the contact may be cancelled. 9. CONDITIONAL BID WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE REJECTED OUTRIGHT. 10. STPI may also cancel the contract by giving one month notice, without assigning any reason. 11. The rate quoted by the bidder shall be valid for a period of one year and no increase in rate shall be allowed during the period of contract. 12. Commercial part of only eligible bidders will be evaluated. 13. The contract may be renewed further for a period of two years, one year at a time, depending upon the satisfactory services on same price, terms & conditions of the existing contract. 14. The agency shall liable to pay compensation for any lost / damage of consignment/ article. 15. In case the day of opening of tender is declared as holiday the opening shall be held on the next working day at the same time. 16. STPI may extend the last date of submission of bid or opening date as it deem required for any administrative reasons. 17. Payment shall be made against original monthly invoice after verification of Consignment/ Docket slip. Seal and Signature of Bidder

3 Eligibility Condition 1. The bidder shall have a fully functional office at Kolkata. 2. The agency shall have valid PAN (self-attested copy should be submitted). 3. The agency shall have GST Registration No., if applicable (self-attested copy should be submitted). 4. The company shall have Registration No. (self-attested copy should be submitted). 5. The company should have Trade License (self-attested copy should be submitted). 6. The copy of authorization certificate/ letter/ MOU for providing the courier service (self-attested copy should be submitted).
