Our Faith Community seeks to both make Christ known and to know Christ. This is accomplished through teaching, evangelization, service, community worship and fellowship offered to all people who seek to know Christ and give glory to God. BAPTISMS: Parents should call the parish office for arrangements. A special class is required before or after the child s birth. To register for the class, please call MARRIAGES: Please contact the pastor at least 6 months before the wedding, before other arrangements are made. Pre-Cana classes are required. PRAYER CHAIN: For requests at St. Joseph call ; for St. Michael call or Please renew the request monthly if needed. SICK AND SHUT-INS: Please inform the parish office of members unable to get to church. They can be placed on a monthly visitation list. Hospitals no longer inform churches of patients, so you must call the parish office. Thank you to all N A TH U!! who made this possible the workers and YO everyone who supported it. THANKSGIVING OUTREACH PROGRAM It is time to collect for our Thanksgiving baskets. Box is located in the church vestibule for food. This year we are making 60 baskets. For more info call the parish office at ext 2 For our baskets and pantry we need: spaghetti sauce,pasta of all kinds, stuffing in boxes, instant potatoes, canned gravy, fruit, and vegetables. Paper products like paper towels, toilet tissue etc. Turkeys are always needed; we have a freezer available. Monetary donations or gift certificates should have, Thanksgiving donation on the envelope and be placed in the collection basket. TICKET TOURNAMENT The St. Joseph s ticket tournament is October 29th. Tickets are now available for $50.00 each and admit 2. Only 100 tickets are sold. Annual Turkey Dinner in Sykesville will take place today Oct. 23rd in the church social hall from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Adults $9.50, Children under 12, $4 Take outs available, handicapped accessible.
