6 Conference Registration Information FEES DAILY FEES FOR ALL Member $325 Wednesday Only $125 Non-member $400 Thursday Only $200 Retired $225 Friday Only $125 Student* $200 *Students must submit a letter on University letterhead confirming current registration and a copy of current University ID NOTES: Pre-Registration is strongly recommended. No guarantees can be made for conference materials or refreshments for onsite registration. Refunds cannot be accommodated after 9/7/2013. Prior to 9/7/13, refunds will be made less a $50 processing fee. Group Discount of 15% is available for a) groups of 5 or more from the same affiliation, b) submitted together, and c) paid with one check. Registration fees include: Conference materials, welcome reception, continental breakfast on Thursday and Friday, and lunch on Thursday. Special Ticketed Event: Pre-registration is required SRS 25 th Anniversary Luncheon Celebration $50 The overall purpose of this offering is to enable learners to discuss theoretical considerations, practice, education, research and/or program development related to the rhythms of life within Rogerian science or unitary science perspectives. This activity has been submitted to New Jersey State Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. New Jersey State Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center s Commission on Accreditation. 9 Conference Location and Lodging Information: The William & Anita Newman Conference Center Baruch College/CUNY 151 E. 25 th Street, 7 th Floor NY, NY The William & Anita Newman Conference Center is located in the Murray Hill Section of New York City. It is a College (Baruch College) within the City University of New York (CUNY). The Conference Center is located in the Baruch Library Building on E. 25 th Street on the 7 th floor. It is easily accessible to public transportation, parking facilities, and to the conference hotels. Please be sure to carry a form of picture identification at all times during the conference. Lodging Information At the current time, we have reserved a block of rooms at two area hotels. Both are smaller, boutique hotels and provide morning continental breakfasts and free wi-fi with a price range of low to moderate. See the directions for reservation and the prices below. Both hotels have agreed to extend the group rate for 2 days before and 2 days after the conference dates on a space available basis. October is a very busy tourism month in NYC, so be sure to make your reservations early. 1. The cost is $239 plus tax and fees will be approximately $ per night. The cost here is $329 plus tax and fees (approximately 14.75% state and city taxes and $3.50 occupancy tax per night). The group block will be held only until 8/23/13.
