2 Description Nurses have identified a need to connect to a research network where they can find opportunities to conduct their research. This two-part program is designed to facilitate identification and collaboration of research opportunities in the nursing community. The knowledge gained from this program will allow nurses to clarify the research process, connect to others with similar interests and conduct nursing research that will improve the overall health and quality of life of eastern North Carolina. Who Should Attend Registered nurses in any practice setting, faculty in schools of nursing, as well as graduate and undergraduate nursing students who are interested in establishing a collaborative research partnership. 5 Credit Part 1: 3.25 CNE hours Part 2: 3.25 CNE hours The Eastern AHEC Department of Nursing and Allied Health Education is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center s Commission on Accreditation. Attendance at the entire program is required for credit. Participation is verified by check in at the start of the program and initial out at the end of the program. Certificates of completion will be available after the participant completes the on-line evaluation. Registration Information Registration Fee: There is no registration fee for this program Register for both programs or an individual program. Please bring a sweater or lightweight jacket to ensure your comfort. Handouts and Evaluations You will receive handouts for this workshop in your confirmation a week prior to the program date. Please be sure we have your correct so that you will receive the handouts. Please be sure to print your handouts prior to the event and bring them to the workshop, as there will be none available at the event. The program evaluation will be sent within 5 business days following the program to the address on your registration form. Once the evaluation has been completed, your certificate will be available.
