1 BLENDED LEARNING BOOTCAMP A WELCOME MESSAGE FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT Tradition Meets Tech: Data-driven, Personalized Learning Thank you for participating in the Archdiocese of Omaha Catholic Schools Office Blended Learning Initiative. After four years of exploring, reviewing and piloting blended learning models, we come together this year in a one-of-a-kind, multi-faceted, intra-parochial collaborative. This professional effort truly embodies and models for others our vision of One Church, united in Christ. Our collective efforts to drive instruction with improved data, gather with peers to learn from each other, and personalize learning for our children, will enrich and deepen our educational capacity to engage and motivate all students. The Catholic Schools Office is excited to be side-by-side with you in this challenging but transformative journey. We are especially grateful for all the prayers and financial support provided by parishioners who, through the Ignite the Faith donations, have made this moment possible through millions of dollars of technology infrastructure and peripherals, as well as much of the software licensing necessary in these first years of the initiative. I look forward to visiting your schools and seeing your classrooms in action! In Christ, Mike August 6, 7, 8 College of St. Mary s Omaha, NE 2
