We have exciting things in store for the council including: the first Council t-shirt that should be ready by the November Planning Meeting hosted by The University of Texas at Austin. The Public Relations Committee will be working hard this year to increase the attendance at the Big XII Conference on Black Student Government by advertising in various magazines including Black Enterprise, local newspapers and school newspapers on both Big XII and non-big XII Campuses. Another goal of the committee is to create a pamphlet, which would include the purpose and work of the council to be given out to future Sponsors and future attendees of the Conference. Again, we would like to welcome everyone back for another exciting year and to do great things for the Big XII Council on Black Student Government. 30 Years of Progress And Still We Rise!
