3 Campus Services 2016 BuzzFunds Annual Report (Overview of Utilization of BuzzFunds) Each fiscal year, Campus Services awards its BuzzFunds funding allocation to Georgia Tech student organizations and campus departments. In order to receive funding, groups must submit a BuzzFunds Proposal from the form posted on the Campus Services website (ImportantStuff.gatech.edu). The groups requesting funding must be Georgia Tech chartered student organizations or campus departments requesting funding for a major project or program. The Campus Services BuzzFunds Proposal includes: Proposal Name Description of Proposal (including how this program or event fosters leadership or Georgia Tech community involvement) Date of Event/Program Benefits (who will benefit from this program or event) Budget (make sure all funding requests are included) Amount and Items Requested Brief Report due no later than two weeks after event Campus Services Communications markets the BuzzFunds program, letting groups know of the availability of funding. The number of groups receiving funding has remained constant at 100-plus for the past four years with 102 ( ), 109 ( ), 103 ( ) and 109 for This year Campus Services awarded a total of $193, in BuzzFunds to 109 groups with 40 new groups receiving funding. The funded groups are listed on the following pages.
