PRESIDENT S MESSAGE Roy Viken Hope all of you are planning to attend the Idaho State Festival in Sugar City June 7-8-9, There have been some changes, but I have found that some of the best events are those that are reorganized to fit the moment. Eastern Idaho is beautiful this year, with lush greenery and majestic mountains. Sugar City is in a beautiful area, so take an extra day or two to enjoy what the area has to offer. Mesa Falls is high on the list of favorite waterfalls in Idaho with a deep history in the development of Yellowstone Park. The Teton Dam museum is an interesting page in the area s history. Other area attractions include Teton National Park, Yellowstone Bear World, Craters of the Moon, Quake Lake, Palisades Reservoir, Sand Dunes at St Anthony and Jackson Hole Wyoming. The list goes on and on and all are in easy driving distance of this dance venue. Bring your dancing shoes, fishing pole and camera to make it a memorable dancing and touring weekend. Additional note from Lynne: Please send information about your club s upcoming regular and special events to Lynne Krogh, dancnalk@cableone.net. 1
