2 Knox Youth Council s SUMMERTIME CAMP OUT Saturday, June 2 nd at the Knox Town Park Pitch your tent or setup your camper and join us for a night of fun! Campers join together for dinner* at 6:00 p.m. Family activities (including kickball under the lights) and a bonfire will follow. Advanced Registration is required for planning purposes. Suggested donation of $5/person or $20/family. Please bring non perishable food items for a food pantry donation. 3 DAY CAMPS BKW High School s BULLDOG BASKETBALL CAMP June 25 June 29 Daily from 9 a.m. 3 p.m. Registration required by June 15; cost is $100/child. Knox Youth Council s SUMMER SOCCER CAMP Week of July 9 13 Pre K Grade 1 Program Daily from 6 p.m. 6:45 p.m. Learn the basics of soccer while having fun; cost is $20/child. Grades 2 12 Program Daily from 6 p.m. 7:45 p.m. Focus on age appropriate skill development; cost is $40/child. Registration flyers to be distributed at BKW CSD in mid May. Weeklong educational camp based upon science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics for children entering grades 2 7 ( school year). Includes breakfast, lunch and bus transportation. Contact: BKW elementary school at Country Classroom s SUMMER NATURE CAMP July 9 13: NATURE DETECTIVES (solve riddles & look for nature based clues) July 23 27: STEM BUILDING CAMP (Building w/ science, technology, engineering, & math) Registration required. For more information visit Cost is $180/week for Full Day (9 a.m. 3 p.m.). Sibling discount of 10% is available. Weeklong camp in Middleburgh for children, ages 4 11, to play, make friends, and explore the natural world including hands on activities and free play discovery time. All meals are included Just bring your blanket, pillow and personal items! July SUMMER RECREATION CAMP WEEK; Daily from 9 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Registration required. Flyers to be distributed to BKW 1 6 th grades in early June. Weeklong camp at the Berne Town Park, includes a day trip to Thatcher Park. Aug SUMMER MUSIC CAMP WEEK; Daily from 11 a.m. 2:30 p.m. Registration required; $10/child. Flyers to be distributed at BKW CSD. Camp for all students who are vocally talented or play an instrument, held at the BKW auditorium. Snacks and drinks will be provided. 5 SOCIAL EVENTS Radio Control Car Club at SWITZKILL FARM Saturday, June 16 from 1 p.m. 3 p.m. Meetup and Trail Drive at Switzkill Farm, 165 Game Farm Road. FREE to attend. Bring your 1/18 th to 1/8 th scale ELECTRIC Radio Control off road vehicle for a few hours of bashing and/or trail driving with a group. Berne Public Library presents: 15 Miles on the Erie Canal" Singalong Storytelling by Bells & Motley Monday, June 25 at 7:00 p.m. FREE to attend.
