You will visit the Sainte-Anne de Beaupré Basilica, admired for its vast proportions, superb stained-glass windows and numerous artistic treasures. The Neoroman basilica is the destination for pilgrims because of the many miracles that have taken place there. Only 40 minutes away from Québec City, discover a rugged canyon with a 243' high waterfall, giant potholes and century-old white pines in a private park still preserved in its natural state. Explore the site on three unique bridges, particularly the spectacular McNicoll Bridge, suspended 180' above the canyon floor. The next stop on the program is lunch at the L Aventure pub overlooking 8

9 Mont Sainte-Anne ski resort. Mont Sainte-Anne, a towering mountain overlooking the St. Lawrence River, is a mecca for skiers during the winter and a wonderful summer playground for the adventurous. Heading back to Québec City, you will travel on the well-known Chemin Royal historic road built under the French Regime. Traditionally roofed houses and numerous root cellars dot each side of the road along the Beaupré coast. You will hear about the evolution of French architecture in North America and much more.
