14 Worksite Wellness Works! BYU Study Merrill & Sloan (BYU) studied a Western state school district s implementation of a workplace wellness program. Results The cost savings from the program was $3.6 million - a savings of $3.60 for every $1 spent. Among wellness program participants: reduced BMI 46.0% 34.7% 65.6% 38.6% lowered systolic blood pressure lowered blood glucose lowered total cholesterol
