The training will provide you with an understanding of petroleum technology and its principles of operation and control. 3 Industrial Equipment Training 10-Day Crane Operator TrainND offers the most comprehensive crane operator training. Students will operate fixed cab cranes and swing cab mobile cranes. 5 NEW Time First Aid & CPR Medic First Aid/CPR/AED Training This course teaches students to take action in a medical emergency and prepares them to respond to choking, breathing and cardiac emergencies. Participants will learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in conjunction with CPR. First Aid is taught using a combination of instructor-led lecture, watch-then-practice videos, and hands-on training. Topics such as bleeding, burns, poisoning and sudden illness are covered. Upon completion, receive an Adult 2-year CPR/AED certificate and 3-year First Aid certificate. Note, this course is not intended for daycare providers, please see PediatricPlus class. This program is ideal for those who are required to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving children, and each student will be issued a certification card valid for up to 24 months. This is a hands-on skills practice and testing session with an AHA BLS instructor. Students must present proof of completion of the online learning module at time of skills testing. 6 Safety Training GHS Update for HazCom This training presentation will explain the significance and impact of GHS and describe GHS-compliant labels and SDSs so that employees who now rely on them will understand the change and use them effectively. $95 pp Course ID: Thursday 8:00am 10:00am Williston: Jan. 7 I Feb. 4 I March 10 H 2 S/Respiratory Protection Awareness Learn what Hydrogen Sulfide is, where you find it, properties, how it can harm, signs and symptoms of exposure, methods to detect, how to control it, and emergency procedures to follow. The test averages minutes. Each individual will receive a detailed print-out and wallet card of all successful fit test results required annually. Must provide proof of medical clearance. Must be clean-shaven. $35 pp/per mask Williston: Monday 8:00am 4:00pm Minot: Wednesday 1:00pm 4:30pm Dickinson classes are offered in collaboration with BSC TrainND Southwest and Dickinson State University. H 2 S/Respiratory Protection with Rescue Simulation This program meets all federal and state requirements and is conducted in accordance with API RP 49 & 55, ANSI Z Hydrogen Sulfide Safety is designed to improve the individual s ability to safely work in a hydrogen sulfide environment. During the classroom section individuals will participate in active discussions and demonstrations on the chemistry, the nature, and the effects of H2S. This class also covers the operations and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and H2S detection equipment. Pre-planning and on-site safety procedures will be stressed. This course is part of the Safety and Health Certificate $150 pp Course ID: Friday 8:00am-12:00pm Williston: Jan. 8 I Feb. 5 I March 11 NEW Time NEW Time IADC RIG PASS + H 2 S + GHS This IADC Rig Pass class is designed to provide new employees with a comprehensive orientation of rig operations and safe work practices to improve the safety performance of service contractors and Exploration and Production operators and to assist in satisfying federal, state and industry regulations and recommended practices. Now Includes GHS. $650 pp Course ID: Tuesday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm Williston: Jan. 5-8 I Feb. 2-5 I March 8-11 StatOil Orientation A Statoil site safety orientation must be attended by each contractor and subcontractor employee that will be involved in safety sensitive work at a Statoil location. Orientation helps contractors and subcontractors become familiar with Statoil HSE policies, expectations, and worksite rules. Contractor employees may be asked for proof of orientation by the onsite Statoil supervisor. $50 pp - Must pre-register with payment. To create a mind set in each student that will help them to play an active role in the safety program at their work facility. $425 pp Course ID: Tuesday-Wednesday 8:00am-4:30pm Minot: Jan I Feb I March 8-9 PEC Basic with Safeland Endorsement + H 2 S This course is designed to take the place of multiple operator orientations and to give a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry. It meets API RP 75 & API RP T-1 requirements, and provides a basic understanding of general safety information an employee should know before entering a facility and while performing work duties. The class will cover the fire combustion process and the theory behind stopping the combustion process from continuing. Also covered in the class are prevention measures to stop the combustion process from taking place, emergency action plans, emergency egress, fire drills and more. The student will exercise the knowledge using a fire extinguisher simulator. Prior to working for TrainND Mathers worked as a Rathole operator, laydown operator and a licensed plumber. Mathers is certified in H2S, OSHA 2264 Permit required confined space, Reasonable Suspicion, 40 Hour Hazwoper, Air Brake, Excavation and Trenching Hazard Awareness, ND Master Plumber, Fire Fighter 1, and extraction certified. In Mather s free time he volunteers as a Fire Fighter for the Williston Rural Fire Department, and he loves to spend time fishing, hunting, riding motorcycle and spending time with his family.

8 Professional Development Your Leadership Journey This course arms a new (within their first two-three years) or prospective leader with knowledge and skills they need to confront the challenges they face early in their leader career. The course encourages the learner to think about the transitions that newer leaders face and how to handle those challenges. Learners will be introduced to three leadership differentiators that are most important to build a positive reputation as well as add to the organization s success.
