17 Workers Compensation Public Sector Safety Inspectors and Industrial Hygienists investigate both private and public sector workplace injuries & fatalities for the Department of Workforce Development. Investigation of an accident at a Public Sector Employer may result in orders to correct. An Investigation may or may not be limited to the accident site. A safety and health violation may increase amount paid to employees. 17
