1 R&D Conclave 2018 at GOA DATE & VENUE o Date: August 22-24, 2018 o Venue: Holiday Inn Resort, Mobor Beach, Goa CONCLAVE Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) along with industry partners is pleased to organise an R&D Conclave during August 22-24, 2018 at Goa. The proposed Conclave will cover the R&D activities related to the Oil & Gas Industry (Upstream, Midstream & Downstream) as well as Emerging Technologies related to the Energy Sector.

2 TOPICS The topics likely to be covered would be as follows: Revitalizing Mature Fields Tapping Unconventionals Reservoir Management, Simulation in Unconventional Oil & Gas Well Engineering, Well Integrity Management Big data Analytics & Digital Oil Field Refining & Petrochemicals including process intensification Refining Catalysts & Additives Emerging Technologies (Waste to Energy, Hydrogen & Fuel Cells, Nano Technologies) Those interested to present their R&D work related to above topics, may send the extended abstract in about words by to: Please note that most of the presentations shall be by invitation, few exceptionally outstanding work may still be included for the presentation or as posters.

4 ABOUT THE VENUE Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the area s tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda. Goa is a popular tourist destination and is accessible through all modes of transportation. Nearest airport from Goa (Panjim) is Dabolim Airport (Goa International Airport), at a distance of about 30 Km. Dabolim Airport serves regular flight from Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and other major cities of India. Goa s main railway stations are in Mudgaon, and Thivim.

REGISTRATION CHARGES o The registration fee for fully residential participants inclusive of two- night boarding & lodging at Holiday Inn Resort, Goa would be INR 35,000/- per participant plus 18% GST. o For non-residential participants, the fee will be INR 20,000/- per participant plus 18% GST. o For foreign delegates the fee on residential basis will be USD 750 per participant plus 18% GST. o FIPI has blocked limited rooms for participants. Hence, registration will be on first come first serve basis.
