2 LEGASIS IS PLEASED TO INVITE SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 2016 ANNUAL COMPLIANCE AWARDS. Through these Annual Awards, we pay tributes to Compliance and Ethics professionals in India Most of the Compliance and Ethics Professionals in India felt the need to inculcate a strong sense of Pride and Respect and empowerment and responsibility in Compliance Function. This backdrop has been the basis of creation of Compliance 10/10 and the Annual Compliance Awards by Legasis. Corporate India needs to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Compliance and Ethics Professionals who excel in their field and foster a Culture of Compliance across the organizations. It is the Compliance Professional's effort, foresight and action that can avoid potentially adverse consequences for your company and its stakeholders. We request you to send your nomination for an award that you deem to qualify for. Through a panel of independent jury we would be analysing your contributions that has impacted your organisational behaviour on compliances. Your submissions will help us measure and reward value delivered to your organization through inculcation of a culture of compliance rather than more conventional qualitative metrics such as size, budget etc and a tick the box approach. This unique analysis will be the basis for recognising and rewarding Compliance Champions across India Inc. Indeed, in many compliance initiatives, how a Compliance and Ethics Professional acts is often the most appropriate way one can differentiate oneself from his/her peers. Legasis is a specialised enterprise providing legal support services with a focus on fusion of Lawyering and Information Technology. Moving from a pioneer to a leader, over last five years, Legasis has been supporting compliance needs of over 300 Indian companies. 4 HOW TO SUBMIT ENTRIES: All submissions may be made online, through or a physical submission to Legasis office in Mumbai in a sealed envelope. For online submissions visit Electronic copies of all submissions must also be ed to info@compliance1010.com Please send each submission as a separate file with the name of the submitting organisation and category to which the submission is being made included in the file name. Video content, images or submissions in other formats are also welcome. SUBMISSION FORMAT: For each category a different format has been prescribed and is attached hereto. You may also log in at for these formats. Nominations: Individuals and Companies RULES FOR SUBMITTING: Word count: Submissions should be no longer than 2,000 words in total, written in English and should answer each of the questions on the Nomination form. The word count excludes references and contact details. Time period: To be submitted on or before 20 th September, 2016 There is a limit of THREE submissions per category. If more than three submissions are made, only the first three in alphabetical order by title will be considered. ASSESSMENT OF SUBMISSIONS: Submissions will be fully reviewed and assessed by the Jury on their own merits based on the nomination forms and documents submitted. Submissions will be scored based on the criteria approved by the Jury. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: There is no fee for entering submissions to the Compliance Awards. The Jury reserves the right to move entries from one category to another if they feel it is more appropriate. The decision of Jury will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

5 Legasis accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of material submitted. Legasis reserves the right to publish the names of the Company or Individuals contained in the shortlist of outstanding entries, details and description of all entries and details of winners. All entrants grant Legasis a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to publish details and descriptions of entries as referred to, and also agree to participate in publicity reasonably requested by Legasis regarding their entry. Legasis acknowledges that copyright in all entries remains vested with the entrants. Please do not include any confidential information in your entry that you do not wish to enter the public domain because Legasis is unable to guarantee that such information will not be published as set out above. Any inclusion of confidential information in an entry is at the entrant s sole risk and responsibility and in knowledge of Legasis s request not to do so. Legasis reserves the right to cancel, postpone or suspend Compliance Awards 2016 at any time. By submitting an entry, entrants will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions on behalf of their organisation.
