3 PĀNUI KURA TEINA Ngā Ture ki te Kura Kura Teina have set 4 basic rules to guide us throughout the year. 1.Kia ū ki te reo rangatira. 2.Aroha tētahi ki tētahi. 3.Kia kaha ki te whakarongo. 4.He kaitiaki ahau mō tōku Kura. Omaroa - Rāpare Waipapakauri (Cross Country) We have the annual Central Zone Cross Country event being held this Thursday. The majority of Kura Teina will be participating. The event will be held at Heather Jones farm along West Coast Road on the way to Waipapakauri Ramp. Races start at 10am, with the 5 & 6 year olds. Consent forms have been sent home today as well. Please ensure these are returned to Kura before Thursday. Tamariki will need to bring the following on the day: Running shorts Packed lunch Drink bottle Towel Warm jacket Wāhanga Tuatoru, Wiki 6 Nau mai, hoki mai ki te Kura! This term Tau 12 are researching an event such as the; NZ Waka Ama Nationals, Te Matatini, Olympics, Tai Tokerau Rugby League and looking at its impacts on NZ society. Tau 13 are on their way to completing a 4 week training program where they are to complete a 3k run, 10k bike and 500m swim. This week they will be reflecting on the effectiveness of thier program and make modifications on how they can improve their overall performance and hauora.
