1 NEWS & VIEWS Volume 1, Issue 11 GFWC Delaware State Federation of Women s Clubs April 2014 From the President: It started very small, just a dream and a twinkle in our eyes. And then the dreams began to grow and come alive. The dreams, the wishes and all you did is a part of every member and every Club. We shared a great two years. Watching each other Dream It, Wish It and Do It. Excitement and enthusiasm overtook all of us as we created moments and memories we will never forget. For me, visiting your Clubs and enjoying your projects and your special events was the best. Up and down the State, you welcomed me into your Clubs with wonderful hospitality and warmth. You gave me precious moments of your time. To your Clubs you gave, unselfishly, countless hours of community service. Delaware State Federation women ROCK! We had great fun together and your Clubs did some absolutely amazing community service projects. I know that all of you can keep a secret but I am sworn to secrecy. The Convention Committee is working very hard planning some wonderful surprises for all the members. Mark your calendars and save the dates of May 22 and 23 to join all your Delaware State sisters at the Christiana Hilton for convention. The Call to Convention is in this newsletter. The 2014 Convention will mark the end of the Administration and the start of the Administration. The installation of the new Officers is a very special ceremony. I invite all of you to come to convention and support the outgoing women continued on page 2 INSIDE DSFWC Nominations for Resolutions 7 GFWC 2 nd Vice President 8-11 Call to Convention 11 Registrations for Convention Federation Day My dearest ladies, you are all the greatest!
