The orientation leaders (OLs) are here to help! Students can work with any OL to find their way around campus and take care of the following items before our welcome at 1 p.m.: Visit your residence hall and unpack. ose for your student ID photo. Activate your SJC at the IT Booth. Visit our C-Store and grab some SJC gear to show off back home. This student-led panel will include the topics related to residence life, The Mercy Center, clubs and organizations, and more. 7:45 p.m. Evening Entertainment Auditorium, Alfond Hall 9 p.m. 12 a.m. Evening Activities Clark s Court and other locations Day Two Enjoy tie-dying your orientation shirt, gather around the campfire for s mores, enjoy game time on Clark s Court, suit up for a bubble soccer match, or test your knowledge with trivia in the Chalet. 8:30 9:30 a.m. Breakfast earson s Café 9:30 10:15 a.m. acking Up Residence Halls Take time to head back to your room, pack everything up, and get ready for an active morning on campus. 10:15 a.m. Taking the Confusion Out of College, Student Edition Auditorium, Alfond Hall High School vs. College: Join The Academic Center and eer Mentors as they discuss some of the academic differences between high school and college. 11:15 a.m. Reconnect with your Orientation Group OL group location Take time to ask any last-minute questions you might have about SJC. Understanding the Money: The arents Role in Student Success Auditorium This session is designed to provide parents with the information needed to best partner with Saint Joseph s in order to support the student in being successful during their college years. Financial Aid and Student Success staff will share resources and tips for parents. Sessions start at 4, 4:35, and 5:10 p.m. Meet the Academic Deans Room #216 Join the Academic Deans in a conversation about their roles in your student s academic success and progression to degree completion. Sessions start at 4, 4:35, and 5:10 p.m. Career Development Room #217 Take some time to find out all that Career Development does for your student during their time here at Saint Joseph s, including the Connections program and its $2000 stipend toward a career-related experience or travel.
