(also: computer pickup/drop-off for students arriving late). 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Bookstore Open, Location: Strauch Family Student Center Stop by to pick up your books, purchase school supplies and Landmark gear. 9:00am-12:00pm 11:30am-1:45pm 2:00pm-2:30pm 2:30pm-4:00pm 4:00pm-6:00pm Registration & Move In Location: Café Court, Student Center Register for Orientation, pick up your computer, get your student ID, fill out any remaining paperwork and receive directions to your room. After you finish registering you will be able to check into your residence hall. Orientation Leaders and Residential Life staff will be on hand to assist you and answer any questions. Lunch Remember to bring your ID; you ll need it for every meal. Technology Training Locations: (See below for your group s location) Learn the ins and outs of your laptop as well as the software platforms that Landmark uses including , Canvas, moodle, SIS and Sharknet. Bring your laptop with you to this session. Diversity- From a Social Science, Education, Humanities, Communications Perspective Locations: (See Below) In the time slots below when you are not attending a Technology Session, you should choose one of the mini lectures on Diversity being held by our faculty. Each minilecture is a 30 minute experience with 15 minutes for questions/discussion 4:15pm-5:15pm 5:00pm-7:00pm 7:30pm Study Abroad Wellness Presentation Location: Room 111, MacFarlane Center Hear about the Caribbean Study abroad program from this year s participants. They will also discuss the wellness themes that they personally explored during their time abroad including sleep, diet and nutrition, mind-body connection, and going tech free. Athletics, Fitness and Recreation Information Session Interested in participating in intramurals? Climbing the rock wall? Playing on an athletic team? Going on an outdoor adventure? Meet the Athletics, Fitness and Recreation Staff, along with our coaches. Athletics, Fitness and Recreation Facilities Tour Tour the different workout and exercise spaces on campus and learn what each has to offer and how you can access them. Classroom Tour Location: Meet on the Quad Not sure where your classes are located? Need to figure out where you need to be Monday morning? Meet on the Quad and the Orientation Leaders will help you find your way. Free Time Relax and recharge. The bookstore, Fireside Café, and Click Center will all be open. Or simply relax in your residence hall. If you haven t purchased your books this is a great opportunity to do that.
