3 Summer Camp line Prior to Attending Camp January 17, 2018 Council Camp Kick Off at 6:00pm or 7:00pm, Cabela s Hamburg, PA February 1, 2018 Final Site Deposit for Summer Camp Taken March 15, 2018 Initial Deposit of $50.00 per Scout and Leader due to Council April 15, 2018 Second Payment of $50.00 per Scout due to Council April 14-15, 2018 Out of Council Leaders Camp Tour at HMSR April 15, 2018 Leaders Summer Camp Orientation at HMSR, Miller at 4:00pm May 15, 2018 Completed Campership Applications due to Council May 25, 2018 Campership Award Letter due to Unit Leader June 15, 2018 Final Payment per Scout and Leader due to Council June 16, 2018 Final Payments per Scout increased by $ Weeks prior to arrival at Camp verify all Scouts/Leaders have completed section A,B & C on the BSA Health Form. 1 Week prior to arrival receive confirmation call from Camp on #s of Scouts/Leaders attending, Site confirmation, any food allergies, Equipment needed by Unit and Meal Plan Day 1 of Camp (Sunday) 1:00pm Unit Check In begins at Welcome Center (have printed Unit Roster, Medical Forms, Receipts), Camp Guide assigned, after this quick Check In the following will happen: A) Unit moves Site, Unpacks vehicles, Change into Swim Suits, Return all vehicles staying to Main Parking Lot B) Unit moves to Health Lodge for Medical Form Review and Buddy Tag issue C) Unit moves to Waterfront/Pool for Swim Test D) Unit Photo either prior to or after Swim Test, and prior to Evening Meal E) Unit Camp Tour 4:00pm Unit returns Site, continue setting up Unit equipment, Prepare for Evening Meal and the Opening Campfire. Unit Leader, SPL and Unit Fire Marshal meetings at (30 minutes) 5:30pm Unit Assigned Servers to the 5:45pm Camp Retreat (Flag Ceremony) 6:00pm Dinner at 7:00pm Program Area Orientation / Safety Briefings outside of 8:00pm Opening Campfire by Staff (Staff Introductions) 9:00pm Units back at Camp Sites 10:00pm Taps Welcome and Start the of Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation
