3 City of Santa Ana Baseball Summer Program T The City of Santa Ana s Youth Sports Program is gearing up for the return of America s favorite pastime Baseball. The upcoming Rookie Baseball season is scheduled to begin with program registrations in June. Youth Sports will host its fourth season of this co-ed sport over the summer. The program continues to grow annually with 2017 generating the highest number of registered participants as well as the most teams in a season since the return of the program in With the return of the co-ed Rookie Baseball, the city has expanding its Youth Sports Programs, thereby providing more opportunities for youth to become active learners; develop new skills and socialize with others. A good example of this effort took place at the Pitch, Hit and Run and Jr. Home Run Derby event held at Riverview Park on March 18, This fun and competitive activity sponsored by Major League Baseball, challenged youth to test their pitching, running skills and hitting power. program through their 8th grade. Learning and developing fundamental skill sets, enhancing social skills ticipating in sports at a young age. The earlier youth can learn how to stay healthy and active, the more likely they are to develop the necessary wellness skills and grow into physically active and healthy adults. The program offers opportunities that will help develop and nurture a love for a game that has been America s favorite pastime for over 100 years. Rookie Baseball of- a minimal cost. Come out and see what all the hoopla is about. We are sure you will enjoy yourself this summer just a little more with a few games under the California sun in one of our City s great parks. The city s Rookie Baseball Program registration opens on June 4 at Jerome Recreation Center, located at 726 S. Center St The Rookie Baseball Youth Sports Program offers one of the most effective ways to promote the importance of Rookie Baseball program allows boys and girls as young as 3 years old to participate, learn and grow with the

If you pay by check, you expressly authorize the City of Santa Ana or its agents, should the check be dishonored or returned for whatever reason, to electronically debit your bank account on which the check is drawn for the amount of the check, plus a $25.00 processing fee. Make checks payable to the City of Santa Ana. 7. Classes will be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met, so register early. 8. The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency has the right to cancel or change any and all classes, activities or excursions, without advance notice. Refund Policies PRCSA 1825 W. If a class is canceled or is full, a refund will automatically be processed for the customer. 3. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to City of Santa Ana, William Sandoval, 1825 W. For over 15 years, the Academy of International Dance has trained children in classical ballet and has been successful teaching students to reach point level. But it all starts with beginning ballet classes. Your child will learn various rhythms, barre exercises that will improve their technical and strength ability, center work, spatial awareness and coordination, and choreographies that will impress their family and friends.
