The exhibit will be on display from September 2 through October 30. Reception with the artist: Saturday, September 10, 2:00-4:00 p.m.

2 Letter from the Director Dear Residents, Summer at the Library was an exciting time, with tremendous participation in our Summer Reading Clubs. As fall begins, we are planning a special event for Saturday, October 1: The 10th Anniversary Celebration of the opening of our beautiful building. There will be fun events for children of all ages, including Mini Golf, Story Walk, and our always popular Cupcake Decorating. The highlights of the day will be a musical performance by students from Cold Spring Harbor Jr./Sr. High School, and a performance of Beauty and the Beast by Plaza Theatrical. I hope you are able to participate in the 10th Anniversary Celebration, and the numerous other quality programs we offer every day. I look forward to seeing you at the Library! Sincerely, Dr. Roger Podell SIGNATURE EVENT WILD GINGER Sunday, October 16, 2:00 p.m. This three-woman a cappella vocal ensemble will give a captivating performance of a variety of African chants, European chansons, and American folk songs. Entertainment for the whole family! TEEN TECH TUTORS Wednesday, September 28 & Tuesday, October 18, 3:00-5:00 p.m. Adult learners: Baffled by your smartphone or computer? Tech-savvy teens will be here to help! Call the Children s Desk for an appointment. COLD SPRING HARBOR LIONS CLUB 12TH ANNUAL FISHING DERBY Saturday, September 17 (Rain date: Sunday, September 18) Open to children up to and including 16 years old. Awards and refreshments! Weigh-in starts at 3:30 p.m. The entry fee is $15; proceeds benefit the CSH Library Children s Department and the Guide Dog Foundation.
