2 Friday Morning Makers Fridays (June - August) 9:00 a.m. - Noon Enjoy an all-ages makerspace every Friday morning. We provide the materials, you create the masterpiece! Kent Cummins Magic Show! Saturday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. Bring the whole family for a magical day at the Library! Enjoy a magic show and magic tutorial afterwards! Fantastic Fandom Cosplay Friday, June 29 at 6:30 p.m. Adults and teens celebrate their fandoms at this very special dance in the Library! From Harry Potter to Sailor Moon, dress to impress and mingle with other cosplayers! A Night at Hogwarts (Fun for the whole family) Friday, July 13 at 6:30 p.m. We are pleased to inform you that you have a place in the Library s Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Please send your owl or call to register your family for a evening at Hogwarts where you will gather your needed supplies, learn beginning spells, and meet with your fellow housemates. Space is limited, register your family starting May 1st! Lords and Ladies, Knights and Villains Saturday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. Dress as your favorite princess, villain, knight, or prince for a day of medieval family fun at the Library! Geekfest Central Texas College Friday, August 17 - Sunday August 19 Can t get enough cosplay? Visit Central Texas College for Geekfest 2018! Geek your favorite fandom, visit the Library s rooms as we present Harry Potter programs, starting with the Yule Ball on Friday night. Admission is required, visit for information on pricing, program lineup, and more!

3 Baby Steps (0-18 months) Mondays at 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. Babies, parents, and caregivers will enjoy working together in this lapsit program to learn songs, rhymes, action games, and more! No older siblings, please. Mother Goose on the Loose Tuesdays: June 5 - July 31 9:00 a.m. (0-18 months) 10:00 a.m. (19 months and older) Go on a music-filled adventure! Children and their caregivers learn songs, beginner s musical concepts, are introduced to instruments, and more! Program is first come, first serve. Little STEAMers Tuesdays: August :00 a.m. (0-18 months) 10:00 a.m. (19 months and older) Children, parents, and caregivers explore the world around them! This beginner s sensory program introduces your child to STEAM learning in a fun, play-based program! Toddler Time Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. (0-3 years) Don t miss this high-energy program filled with fun! Babies and toddlers will love experiencing stories, music, rhymes, fingerplays, and more while learning early literacy skills and valuable life skills! Storytime Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. (3-6 years) Get active each week with stories, songs, rhymes, and more! School-age children will love exploring robotics, clay animation, green screen fun, and more! Best for ages Science Rocks! Wednesdays: June 6 - August 22 2:00 p.m. Love science? So do we! Join us for a weekly program where we explore the world of science! Best for ages Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! Club Saturdays Year Round 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Children age 8-17 battle and duel. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. Paper Crafts Club Every 2nd Saturday Year Round 11:00 a.m. Children of all ages and their parents/guardians gather to craft scrapbooking pages, greeting cards, and more! Building Blocks Club Every 2nd Saturday, June - August 2:00 p.m. Bring the whole family to build amazing feats of engineering fun with magna tiles, LEGOs, Interlox, and more!

Community Helper Nights Thursdays: June 21, July 19, August 9 Families will enjoy meeting community helpers from the Harker Heights Fire Department, Police Department, and Pet Adoption Center. Bookworms & Crafters Club Thursdays: June 28, July 26, August 23 Do you love a traditional storytime with a craft? Bring the whole family for stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts! Registration-Required Programs Visit the Library starting May 1st, 2018 to register! Coding with Kids (ages 8-11) Saturday, June 16 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Your kids will love learning introductory coding skills! Children must be able to read and write fluently to register. Sewing Camp (ages 7-12) Tuesday, July 10 and Wednesday, July 11 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Interested in fiber arts? This two day camp will teach you introductory sewing skills! A Night at Hogwarts (Fun for the whole family) Friday, July 13 6:30 p.m. Are you a Harry Potter fan? Families, spend an evening at Hogwarts! Choose your house, practice spells, and more!

Teen Pool Party Friday, June 8 7:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. The Parks & Recreation Department and the Library bring you a night of swimming, snacks, and a DJ! ***Teen Dive-Ins are for ages No younger siblings allowed and gate admission rates apply*** Teen Coding Workshop Saturday, June 16 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. Teens will love learning introductory coding skills in this FREE workshop! Register at the Library starting on May 1st! Recycled Art: Book Page Project Saturday, July 21 4:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. Teens use permanent markers and recycled book pages to make masterpieces. No registration or art skills required.
