2 Love Our Local Community Everybody talks about buying American and buying local. There are good reasons why people say this all of the time. It helps to build our nation and communities with businesses that understand our needs and wants. Times get tough and eventually they swing back to being great again. It s the businesses that stay with our nation and communities through the good and bad times that make us stronger and better no matter what the current situations dictate. Since 1945, how many good and bad times have there been? It s not a rhetorical question. The answer is a lot! MTCO Communications has been here through all of those times. MTCO Communications started in 1945 with the vision of Ray Rauh and his family in a little house located in Metamora, Illinois. From the beginning, the family built this business on the ideals of the local community they served. They never waiver from these ideals, and the company is still here locally after all of these years. Not only in the village of Metamora, but we also built roots in Marseilles and Washington, Illinois. We are a proud company of employees and friends that work and play in the community that you live. Just because we are a local business does not automatically give us the right to be your choice of service for television, Internet and telephone. We had to work hard to gain your trust and prove that we deserve your business. Over these past years, MTCO has not only invested in ourselves to offer your family or business the latest and greatest available in technology, but we also invested in the communities we serve. We employ local people, serve local organizations and support the local activities here that make living in our town great. It s not rocket science to be a good neighbor, but it s not always easy to maintain the needed trust of the people locally. Fortunately, MTCO has always strived to be that great neighbor in your community. If you are a customer with MTCO, we thank you for your support and confidence. If you aren t a customer with us, we invite you to give us a chance to be your good neighbor and telecommunications service provider. Happy Spring!
