The above phrases wish us a Merry Christmas and Merry it should be. Many things in our life at this time may cause us not to be as merry or as joyful as we should at the birth of our Savior. Blessed Teresa of Calcutta would remind us to let nothing of this world separate us from the joy of the risen Christ! As we celebrate the birth of this Christ, who brings salvation to the world, may we not let anything remove the joy that the birth of the Messiah has brought to us. May you have a Holy Christmas. May Christmas bring peace, joy, and happiness to you and all of yours. May all of us live in this wonderful world God has created and given to us, and may we make it a better place for all. Rosary Sunday, January 1 Church Rosarians are encouraged to meet in the first few pews of church at 8:40 a.m. to recite the Rosary, and attend the 9:00 a.m. Mass that is offered for the intentions of the Rosarians. Bingo on Tuesdays!! BINGO is back every Tuesday evening beginning with the Early Bird Special at 7:15 p.m. and Game 1 at 7:30 p.m. Powerball in Msgr. Walsh Hall. Food is also $300 available. New Year s Mass Schedule The regular Sunday Mass Schedule will be followed for New Year s Eve and Day. New Year s Eve, Saturday, December 31, 5:30 p.m. New Year s Day, Sunday, January 1 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. There is no Family Mass in Msgr. Walsh Hall on New Year s Day. Daily masses after Christmas will be held in the Church. 4 St. Mary s Church Remembrance Tree The Lord is my Shepherd St. Mary s is pleased to offer a special way to memorialize a loved one or a special intention, by adding your leaf/rock to our beautiful Remembrance Tree Sculpture located in the rear of the Church. A minimum of four (4) Masses will be offered each year for the individual or intention of each leaf/rock, with dates to be published in our bulletin. The cost for each leaf is $1,000. We will inscribe each leaf when just $400 has been paid. The remaining $600 to be paid over two years, at $300 a year. The cost for each of the three remaining rocks is $5,000 each. We will inscribe each rock when just $3,000 has been paid. The remaining $2,000 to be paid over two years, at $1,000 per year The parish staff will mail yearly reminders for payments of both the leaf and rock. How to purchase a leaf/rock: For your convenience, a registration form has been printed on the reverse side. Fill it out and bring it to the Parish Center where a staff member will assist in wording and set-up for engraving, as well as payment terms and advantages to the Parish of Restricted donation selection.
