The main goal of TNHN is to give enough help to Tempe seniors so that they can continue to live in their own homes as they get older. Members who took a Quality of Life survey after one year of membership reported that they know and talk to more people than they used to, they know how to get help when they need it, they feel more likely to be able to remain in their own homes as they age, they feel less lonely than they did before and their overall quality of life has improved. Studies have shown that seniors who feel more connected to community are healthier and happier! All RTA members are welcome to join the discussion and become more involved in senior activities at Pyle. Membership in the RTA is only $5 per calendar year. If you play cards, Scrabble, Mah Jongg, Billiards, or participate in any of Pyle s free programs such as discussion groups, Bluegrass Jams, lectures and classes, etc., please join!
