1 1) Ardtornish DSL: Kim Phillips No of Scout Troops: 5 No of Scouts in District (approx): 100 Average No. Scouts per Troop: 20 No of Leaders in District (approx): 15 New Leaders: 1 possible new Leader for Golden Grove & for Ridgehaven (details yet to be on hand). Comedy Capers most Troops had 1 or 2 Scouts & Leaders involved Patrol Camp (Hillcrest) Hope Valley held camp at 2nd Valley Golden Grove recently held a camp at RH Rock. Climbing Camp ANZAC Day Dawn Services Scout Leadership Course (went well ) Hope Valley, Greenwith, Hillcrest holding hikes. Greenwith visiting Adelaide Gaol. Hope Valley, Hillcrest, Greenwith (& Ridgehaven?) attending Cohen Cup District Hike postponed from June long W/E to October long W/E. Last Mindari held 13th April at Hope Valley. Next Mindari to be held 8th June at Ridgehaven. Major Awards (for both Scouts & Leaders) District currently working on Leader commitment & getting paper work in on time. 3 4) Eastern DSL: Andrea Banks No of Scout Troops: 9 No of Scouts in District (approx): 190 Average No. Scouts per Troop: 21 No of Leaders in District (approx): 26 Recent Leader Resignations: 1 x Leader from Athelstone Pembroke & Beaumont had a 6 day camp in Kangaroo Island Leadership Course next weekend (in new format). 2 x Troops doing Adventurer Hikes 5 x Troops going to Cohen Cup (15 x patrols) Tranmere going to Kangaroo Island in July Last Mindari held 9th May Next Mindari, 1st August Major Awards (for both Scouts & Leaders Several Pioneer (red) cords awarded A few Explorer (blue) & Adventurer (green) cords also recently presented!
