5 Additional Rules for the Minsi Trails Council Eagle Scout Scholarships 1. Each Eagle Scout may submit only one application during their Scouting Career. It is strongly suggested that Eagle Scouts submit their application during their final year of High School, or the year immediately following the awarding of their Eagle Rank. For example, a 16 year old Eagle Scout is advised to wait until the Spring of his Senior year in High School to submit his application. 2. Only achievements through the end of High School will be considered for the awards. College achievements should not be listed and will not influence how the application is judged. 3. Please inform your teacher reference (near the top of the 3 rd page of the form) that you have listed them as a reference, and provide a valid address they may be contacted. 4. List your overall High School GPA (or GPA to date) and the maximum GPA obtainable at your school please confirm this latter number with your guidance counselor. 5. A missing signature from the application will disqualify an Eagle Scout from consideration. If the Scoutmaster has changed since earning the Eagle rank, the current Scoutmaster may sign, and should be the person indicated on the first page of the application. 6. Failure to meet the April 16 mailing deadline may disqualify an Eagle Scout from consideration. 7. Failure to include the essay will disqualify the Eagle Scout from consideration. 8. Incomplete applications will be considered at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
