These are made available to Ramsey High School seniors on an application basis. Below you will find a list of these scholarships and the selection criteria. If you are a Ramsey High School senior, meet the eligibility criteria, and are interested in applying for one or more of them, please apply via Naviance - Family Connections. If the scholarship requires a separate application, see directions on this sheet. All applications must be submitted through Naviance, unless otherwise noted, by 3:00 p.m. on May 1, Late applications will not be accepted. Thank you and good luck! 1. Ramsey Chamber of Commerce Scholarships 2-$1, Continuing education at a junior college, vocational school, or 4-year college 2. Must have a part-time job at a Ramsey small business (for at least 3 months) during Junior or Senior year 3. Essay requirement 21. Ramsey Historical Appreciation Scholarship $1, Complete an essay of no less than 500 words and no more than 1, The award must be used in furtherance of the winner s post high school education 3. The winner consents to their picture being used in RHS communications recognizing their achievement 4. Students who are family members of the current RHS board members are ineligible to participate 22. Robert K. Walsh Foundation Scholarship $1, Going on to higher education 2. Upper 25% of class 3. 5 23. Ramsey Baseball/Softball Association Awards 4-$750 (2 males, 2 females) 1. Participation as player in a program sponsored by the RBA for a minimum of 1 year 2. Two Varsity baseball and two Varsity softball players 3. Recommendation of Varsity coaches/athletic Director on the basis of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, reverence and civic responsibility 4. Good academic standing 5.
