The majority of the service is delivered within the community using a 7 week group programme, and on occasion one-to-one and/or telephone support. Sessional Smoking Cessation Facilitators play a key role in delivering and monitoring the service standards agreed across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will benefit from full support and training and will work alongside the dedicated Health Improvement Practitioners who co-ordinate and deliver the service. 6 Allied Health Professions G/VB Community Paediatric Occupational Therapist Band Vale of Leven General Hospital, G83 0UA An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Occupational Therapist who is interested in developing skills in the specialist field of Paediatrics to join our well established team. The Paediatric Occupational Therapy Team is based at the Vale of Leven Hospital and covers a wide geographic area encompassing part of West Dunbartonshire and all of Argyll & Bute. You will gain experience in a wide range of paediatric conditions, whilst being fully supported and trained by experienced members of the team. 9 Medical, Dental & Psychology G/VB Adult Psychotherapist Band 7 28 Mental Health Services, Renfrewshire You will offer a systematic provision of a highly specialised psychoanalytic/ psychotherapy service to patients across all sectors of care including those with severe and complex problems. This service may be provided either individually or in groups. The provision of the service includes determining through a complex assessment procedure whether psychoanalytic psychotherapy will a: be an appropriate form of treatment or b: what form of treatment would be appropriate. You will provide specialist advice and consultation to other health care professionals as well as providing an educative role, teaching psychoanalytic theory to a range of staff across the Trust. Another responsibility will be the provision of psychoanalytical assessment and treatment for patients and education, supervision and consultation to clinicians. Thus to provide a thinking space and theoretical structure to other clinicians, teams and systems enabling the safe management of resource intensive and high risk patients. You are expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the department's policies and procedures. The Princess Royal Maternity has over 6,300 births per year. The Neonatal Unit is a Level 3 unit, with provision to meet advanced and complex care needs of neonates. The unit works in close liaison with the other Neonatal Units in Glasgow, including specialist / surgical unit at Yorkhill. As an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for practising advanced skills ensuring the delivery of safe and effective neonatal care and provision both with the neonatal unit and throughout the maternity service, making complex autonomous decisions, diagnosis and management of patient care and utilising advanced skills and knowledge.
