EARLY INTERVENTION (1) Music Works, a Music Therapy agency, to provide services during the summer program to be paid through a grant from The Kistler-Tiffany Foundation. (2) Continue to contract with Easter Seals for summer services for sixteen Approved Private School (APS) students from July 10 to August 11, 2017 at a cost not to exceed $90,228. (3) Continue to contract with Easter Seals to provide evaluations for hearing impaired children in Birth-Three for Chester County from July 1, June 30, 2018 at the following costs: Speech Evaluation Audiology evaluation $ per evaluation $40.94 per 15 min unit (4) Contract with Elwyn Davidson School for summer services for up to eleven APS students from begin July 10 - August 4, 2017 at a cost not to exceed $57, Cost for 1:1 services is not to exceed $3,041. (5) Contract with Pennsylvania School for the Deaf for two children to attend their Extended School Year Program per their current IEPs from July 10, August 10, 2017 at a cost not to exceed $12,250. (6) Continue to contract with CADES to provide classroom-based services and reversemainstreaming classroom services to referred students during the school year at accost not to exceed $596,884. (7) Continue to contract with Easter Seals of Southeastern Pennsylvania to provide classroom-based services and reverse-mainstreaming classroom from July 1, June 30, 2018 at a cost is not to exceed $692,500. (8) Continue to contract with Easter Seals for summer services for sixteen APS students from July 10 - August 11, 2017 at a cost not to exceed $90,228. (9) Continue to contract with Overbrook School for the Blind for six students to attend their ESY Program per their current IEPs from July 10 - August 10, 2017 at a total cost not to exceed $31,020. B. EARLY HEAD START/HEAD START (1) Accept Innovation Fund Proposal to develop before and after care services at Sharon Hill and Yeadon centers, and to hire up to twelve staff as appropriate to cover programming.

(3) Approve a transfer, not to exceed $447,817, as outlined over the three year budget proposal from the Innovation fund to the before and after school care program. (4) Initiate the optional Third year extension of the pest control contract with American Pest Management Services (APMS) for Head Start properties at the following locations/amounts: Chester Township Regional at $76.89 per month Marcus Hook at $66.64 per month Sharon Hill Regional at $ per month Yeadon Regional at $ per month Madison D at $59.96 per month (5) Approval for Grace Palmer, Case Manager at Project ELECT, to attend a Parents as Teachers training in Camp Hill, PA June 19 - June 23, 2017 at an approximate cost of $1957. (6) Approval for all Early Head Start/Head Start staff and parent calendars for the program year. (7) Approval for Program Director to attend the National Head Start Manager and Director training June 25 June 30, 2017 at a cost to DCIU not to exceed $3,500. (8) Approval of affiliation agreements with West Chester University and Widener University to provide internship opportunities for students in the area of Bachelors of Social Work and Masters of Social Work in the Early Head Start/Head Start programs. (9) Renew the National Head Start Association dues at a cost not to exceed $2,000. (10) Continue contract with Barbara Myers, Nutrition Consultant, from July 1, June 30, 2018 for consultation services with the nutrition staff, children and families at a cost not to exceed $25,850. (11) Continue to contract with Bernice Baxter, Health Consultant, from July 1, June 30, 2018 for consultation with the health staff, children and families at a cost not to exceed $42,375. (12) Partnership agreement between DCIU Early Head Start/Head Start and Delaware County Technical School Practical Nursing Program to provide assistance with vision, height and weight screenings of children; and working within health curriculum and presenting health lessons to children, parents and/or staff, effective August 2017 through June 2018 at no cost to DCIU.

EARLY HEAD START/HEAD START (continued) (13) Continue partnership between DCIU Early Head Start/Head Start and DCIU Early Intervention Program for the program year at no cost to DCIU. (14) Approval to update the Head Start Selection Criteria form for the program year effective July 1, 2017 to reflect point system change for employment status and age of child sections. (15) Approve the Pre-K Counts grant renewal in the amount of $846,600 effective July 1, June 30, C. CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION AND PROFESSIONAL LEARNING (1) Contract with Wilson Reading Foundations to present Fundations K Workshop on August 21, 2017 at Morton Campus at a cost to DCIU not to exceed $2,200. (2) Provide customized professional development training to Village School on May 4 12, 2017 at a cost to the school not to exceed $1,200. (3) Provide requested customized professional development training to Evans Elementary School on May 23, 2017 at a cost to the school not to exceed $600. (4) Approve Lauren Poutasse to attend STEM Solution Conference and STEM Ecosystem Award in San Diego, CA May 24-27, 2017 at a cost not to exceed $1,510. (5) Renew contracts with the following for MyLearnignPlan/OASYS subscriptions for the school year: Chichester $3,882 Garnet Valley $5,418 Southeast Delco $5,616 Penn Delco $6,353 Upper Darby $21,578 Interboro $5,375 Widener Partnership Charter School $1,940 (6) Renew agreement with Upper Darby School District for the school year for 1,800 users in Schoology Learning Management System at a cost to the District not to exceed $9,000. (7) Renew agreement with Radnor Township School District for 3,150 users in Schoology Learning Management System during the school year at a cost to the District not to exceed $15,750. (8) Renew agreement with The Haverford School for 825 users in Canvas for the school year at a cost to the school not to exceed $4, (9) Renew agreement with the Delaware County Reading Council during the school year in an amount not to exceed $4,000.

(11) Agreement with Jacquelyn Finn to provide technical support services for continuing professional education from July 1, - October 31, 2017 at a total cost to DCIU not to exceed $12,600. (12) Approve professional development services for Southeast Delco School District on June at a cost to the District not to exceed $690. (13) Agreement with Math Solutions for ten professional development days between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018 in an amount not to exceed $37,500. (14) Agreement with Marple Newtown School District for PA Inspired Leadership professional development from June 8, 2017 through June 30, 2018 at a cost to the District not to exceed $3,600. (15) Agreement with Penn Delco School District for one PA Inspired Leadership professional development course from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 at a cost to the District not to exceed $1,800. (16) Agreement with Chichester School District for one PA Inspired Leadership professional development course from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 at a cost to the District not to exceed $1,800. (17) Extend agreement with Radnor Township School District for personnel support through August 1, 2017 at a cost to the District not to exceed $10,000. (18) Agreement with Paul Gorski for a 2-day workshop on November 28 and 29, 2017 in an amount not to exceed $13,000. (19) Request to provide customized six professional development trainings and monthly instructional coaching for Vision Academy Charter School for up to six new teachers during the school year at a cost to the school not to exceed $12,195. (20) Provide special education coordination services seven hours per week during the school year to Vision Academy Charter School for at a cost to the school not to exceed $28,175. D. SPECIAL PROGRAMS (1) Approve the Lease Agreement between the Newtown Towers and the Delaware County Intermediate Unit to lease Newtown Towers Apt. 6C for a term of one year from September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018 at a monthly rate of $1,475 per month. (2) Provide Extended School Year at the Delaware County Detention Center and George Hill Prison as per students IEPs.

(4) Agreement with Rose Tree Media School District to provide Extended School Year services from July 10 to August 10, 2017 in an Autistic Support classroom per the services on the IEP at a cost to the District not to exceed $33,687. (5) Approval for the agreement with Penn Delco School District to provide a classroom to the DCIU for a social skills ESY program from July 11 to August 3, 2017 at a cost to the DCIU not to exceed $1, (6) Contract with Widener Partnership Charter School for DCIU to provide individual speech therapy during their ESY program for students per their IEPs from July 5 to July 31, 2017 at an hourly rate of $ (7) Contract with the PA Cyber Charter School for a student to attend Extended School Year Literacy Camp Program from July 10 to August 20, 2017 at a cost to the Charter School not to exceed $2,075. (8) Continue to contract with Mary Lou Robinson to provide support for the classroom teachers on teaching students how to prepare thrifty, healthy meals and/or snacks for the school-age program at Pennington Education Center at a cost of $16.45 per hour for up to two hours per day not to exceed $6,100. (9) Continue to contract with Prospect CCMS, LLC Community Hospital Division during the school year to provide mental health counseling/social work services in Girls Prep and Forward Bound at TCA at a rate of $58 per hour and four per hours per week of psychiatric services for Forward Bound at a rate of $ per hour not to exceed $20, (10) Continue to contract with Crozer Chester Medical Center, LLC for their staff to provide treatment services during the school year at the following sites at a cost to DCIU in the amounts listed below: The County Alternative High School $240,359 Community School at Pennington $242,091 Aston $ 56,709 (11) Continue to contract with Radnor Township School District for Hearing Support services during the district s ESY program at a cost to the District of $ per hour for 2.5 hours, total cost $ (12) Continue to contract with Steven Marrone and Sandy Cislo to provide three days of training for PDE New Federal Program Coordinators initiative on September 19, 2017, March 6 and May 22, 2018 at a cost of $850 per session. Funds for training are provided to DCIU by PDE Division of Federal Programs.

(17) Continue to contract with the Philadelphia School District for three students to attend Extended School Year programming at DCIU from July 10 - August 10, 2017 at a total cost to the District of $19, (18) Continue to contract with Penns Grove-Carney Point School District for Extended School Year Literacy Camp for one student from July 10 - August 10, 2017 at a cost to the District of $2,705. (19) Continue to contract with Kimberly R. Hinde, for the school year to provide audiological services for the students as per their current IEP, Central auditory processing evaluations and FM assistive technology evaluations a cost not to exceed $45,000. (20) Amend contract, originally Board approved May 3, 2017, with Delaware County Office of Behavioral Health for DCIU to provide seven half-day trainings on Caring for the Caregiver from May 2017 to June 2018 at a cost to the Office of Behavioral Health not to exceed $4,900. (21) Approval for Amanda Toth, student from Neumann University to complete student teaching, from August 28 - October 13, 2017 at Community School Pennington.
