Wisler Pearlstine MEETING OPENED PUBLIC SESSION Mr. Gray called the meeting to order at 7:37 P.M. in the Board Conference Room of the Oakmont Administration Building. Review Major Budget Assumptions Mr. Rick Henderson Mr. Feinberg moved, seconded by Dr. All-Stuck, to approve the official minutes from the March 2, 2017 Regular Public Board Meeting. Ms. Giambuzzi moved, seconded by Mr. Flaisher, to approve Budget Transfers in the amount of $26,400. Roll Call vote in favor: Mr. Feinberg moved, seconded by Dr. Allen-Stuck, to ratify disbursements totaling $1,416, for general fund expenditures. Mr. Bilotta moved, seconded by Ms. Giambuzzi, to approve ACH payments totaling $4,770, and authorize proper officers of the Board to pay these bills from the General Fund Account. Mr. Feinberg moved, seconded by Dr. Goldschmidt, to approve bills presented on Check Register (checks # #117244) dated March 17, 2017 totaling $493, and authorize proper officers of the Board to pay these bills from the General Fund Account. DCIU SPEC. ED. Dr. Goldschmidt moved, seconded by Ms. Giambuzzi, to approve the Special Education Intergovernmental Funding and Service Agreement with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit in the amount of $1,217, FOOD SERVICES Dr. Goldschmidt moved, seconded by Mr. Bilotta, to: a. Ratify disbursements from the Food Service Fund totaling $77, b. Approve Bill List (checks #2384-#2399) totaling $60, for March Board of Directors School District of Haverford Township

3 March 16, 2017 SUPERINTENDENT S REPORT 1 - Ms. Giambuzzi moved, seconded by Mr. Bilotta, to approve the following appointments: a - Approve the following properly certificated person as a guaranteed daily substitute teacher to work each remaining school day during the school year as indicated below subject to other interim assignments: Name/Building Effective Rate Alyssa Pezick 3/17/17 $137.50/day Lynnewood School Megan Rooney 3/7/17 $137.50/day Middle School b - Approve employment of the following classified applicants: Name/Position Effective Rate Irene Hoffman 3/14/17 $11.00/hr. Elementary building assistant (part-time, appx. 7.5 hrs./week) (replacement Chatham Park School) Maureen Mazza 3/20/17 $18.47/hr. Instructional assistant (full-time, 6.5 hrs./day, 10 months) (new position Coopertown School) Lynda McDonald 3/20/17 $18.47/hr. Instructional assistant (full-time, 6.5 hrs/day, 10 months) (new position Manoa School) c - Approve employment of the following part-time hourly applicants: Name/Position Effective Rate James Jeffers $32.50/hr. 4 d - Approve changes in rate and/or status for the following professional employees: Teresa Dick, from Coopertown School guaranteed substitute teacher to Coopertown School Grade 1 substitute teacher on extended assignment effective April 7, 2017 through May 26, 2017 at a daily rate of $ (replacement). Allie McKenna, from per diem substitute teacher to Lynnewood School Grade 3 substitute teacher on extended assignment effective March 3, 2017 through the end of the school year at a daily rate of $ (replacement). e - Approve placing the following qualified persons on the per diem substitute list: Teacher: Elementary building assistant: Custodian: Bus assistant: Kelly Kiefer Beverly Bleier Tyler Henderson Kalea Joyce f - Approve placing the following qualified person on the homebound tutor list: Toni Marcelli 2 - Mr. Feinberg moved, seconded by Mr. Flaisher, to approve the following leaves of absence: a - Approve a request for a Family and Medical Leave Act leave of absence for the following employees, subject to receipt of required documentation: Jayne Dambman, Chestnutwold School Library teacher, effective April 17, 2017 through May 26, She will use accumulated leave as necessary and available. Lisa Garagozzo, Lynnewood School Grade 3 teacher, effective February 27, 2017 through the end of the school year. She will use accumulated leave as necessary and available. b - Approve requests for a Family and Medical Leave Act and child-rearing leave of absence for the following employees: Matthew Cohen, Middle School Language Arts teacher, effective May 22, 2017 through June 15, He will use accumulated leave as necessary and available.
