5 Farm to Food Bank Tax Credit Farm businesses now eligible to receive up to a $5,000 tax credit annually for 25% of their donation measured at fair market value. Eligible recipients of food: A 501 (c)(3) nonprofit food bank, food pantry, soup kitchen or other hunger relief emergency food site. Effective January 1 st, 2018

32 NYSAR3 Green Schools Elizabeth Blackwell School ofunds for materials to support an existing cafeteria waste composting effort such as aprons, gloves, and T-shirts for the school Green Team to wear during their sorting and education shifts. Seton Catholic School o Set up cafeteria waste composting initiative with a large 5-section tumbler system. Hendrick Hudson High School Green Club o An environmental after-school club worked to raise awareness in their high school by incorporating recycling and composting into their gardening program. Working with their food service director, food scraps were diverted to their composting pile.
