2 McIntosh County Bank Family-owned bank dedicated to serve as Cornerstone of the Community As a family-owned business, McIntosh County Bank s vision is to be the cornerstone of the community. Started as Farmers State Bank of Danzig, North Dakota in 1911, it s now a full-service bank run by fourth-generation family members. McIntosh County Bank offers a variety of products and services to meet customers financial needs at all stages of life including: checking, savings, certificate of deposits, IRA accounts along with lending products. Beginning as a community-focused bank, McIntosh County Bank specializes in the farming-centered needs of their customers. Being the cornerstone of the community means providing services to our primary industry, agriculture, according to President and CEO Robert Wishek. He continued, As a locally owned business, we are small enough to know our customers by name, yet large enough to provide the necessary products and services they need for everyday life and business. However, McIntosh County Bank is driven to provide superior service to all business and residential customers, not only those involved in agriculture. The bank takes part in community activities, as well as invests in organizations and the local school, necessary to keep the community healthy and thriving. Wishek stated, We re focused on every facet of our community where we can make a difference. The most valuable service we offer our customers is the knowledge and experience in money management matters, stated Kayla Litsey, assistant vice president of operations. With this philosophy, McIntosh County Bank believes in hiring and retaining quality employees to help educate customers on the banks services and work with them to reach their financial goals. Whether customers do their banking face to face with their favorite teller or online, McIntosh County Bank has the ability to serve each customer to fit their unique needs. Offering convenient services, like online banking, we can retain our young, local customers who leave the community after high school. Online banking also helps save driving time for customers who don t live near either of our locations in Zeeland and Ashley, said Litsey. Left to right: McIntosh County Bank s Assistant Vice President of Operations Kayla Litsey, DRN s Network Analyst Andy Meyer, and McIntosh County Bank President Robert Wishek. FROM FARMERS STATE BANK OF DANZIG TO MCINTOSH COUNTY BANK: As the financial climate of the Danzig community declined, the bank that opened in 1911 relocated to Zeeland in In 1945, the name changed to McIntosh County Bank to reflect its dedication to the surrounding communities in and around McIntosh County. At that time it also moved the headquarters to the present site in Ashley. Zeeland was retained as a branch office, and serves customers to this day. 2 Bank story continued on page 3. >>

3 McIntosh County Bank continued from page two. A reliable and secure network connection is vital to helping the bank serve customers both in person and online. Most recently, McIntosh County Bank added DRN s ReadiTech managed IT support and consulting services when their previous technical support company wasn t meeting their needs. Litsey sought out the help of Ashley native, DRN Network Analyst Andrew Meyer. They discussed how DRN s ReadiTech team could improve the bank s network performance, reduce downtime and increase productivity. Now ReadiTech manages and maintains the bank s internal network, equipment, computers, including software updates and patches so the bank s team can focus their time and resources on their customers. DRN has helped us improve and expand our network infrastructure so we can securely and efficiently continue to grow and improve our bank products and services, said Litsey. ReadiTech s IT support has proven valuable she explained, with quick response times and the ability to have a technician physically at the bank s location. It saves me time! exclaimed Litsey. It means quicker problem solving, updates and ultimately less downtime, she continued. DRN also provides the business with telephone, high-speed Internet, television, Centrex phone system and web hosting. As the banking industry changes and technology evolves, McIntosh County Bank is dedicated to meet the needs of its customers like it has since its humble beginning. The employees at McIntosh County Bank continue to use their time and talents to support community activities, provide superior customer service and help customers better manage their finances. It s this commitment that McIntosh County Bank demonstrates it truly is a Cornerstone of the Community. DRN s TV Pak customers can watch anywhere and anytime at no extra cost. (Wireless data usage and fees may apply). Most WatchTVeverywhere apps are available on PC, laptop, ipad, iphone and Android phones. Several TV networks are also now available on Apple TV, Roku, and Xbox. Access on specific devices may vary by provider. Visit your device s app store and search by the network name for available applications. It s easy to start using watchtveverywhere. To Register: Select DRN from the drop down menu and Submit. With your latest bill statement handy. Click on Register. You will need: 1. Your DRN account number, and 2. The correct spelling of the last name on the account 1. Keep your router off the floor. Place your router off the ground at least five to seven feet if possible. Think of your router as a light bulb that you want to shine as far as possible. 2. Put your router in the center of your home preferably on the first floor. Stay away from putting it in the basement or the back corner bedroom. 3. Avoid locations next to or behind your TV because media components can seriously affect your wireless performance. Also, stay away from enclosed consoles with heat producing appliances like a DVD player or game console that can also cut down the signal. 4. Stay away from basic home appliances like cordless phones and microwaves. These also affect performance. 5. Have a fish tank? Avoid placing the router by your tank as wireless signals don t pass well through water. 6. Where in your house do you use wireless most often? Place your router as close as possible to where it s used often or a central location, off the ground and out in the open. 7. Limit applications that take up a lot of speed. Playing video games online or doing video chats can make the wireless experience slower for everyone else. Visit to complete a speed test. 8. Regularly reboot your router. Software updates are made from time to time that require a restart. To reboot your router, unplug it from the outlet, wait seconds and plug it back in. 9. Check your router s age. An outdated router could be the reason why wireless speeds are slow. Depending on your needs, DRN recommends upgrading your router every two to five years. You will be asked to: 1. Provide an address. This will be your username. This can be any valid address. 2. Provide a password. 3. Select a password reset question. 4. Supply the answer to the password reset question. 5. Click on Register. Check the address you just provided. You will find an message with your watchtveverywhere activation link. Click on the link to complete the registration process. Finished! Begin enjoying watchtveverywhere. It is important that you keep your username and password confidential. Use of your credentials by others will result in a loss of watchtveverywhere privileges. Tips to improve your Wi-Fi signal WHAT IS WI-FI? Wi-Fi is wireless internet. It uses hot spots, a physical location that offers internet through the use of a router.
