Do the planet a favour and take your reusable cup to Tims! PIZZ BOXES are another item that we can recycle. If you have pizza boxes they can be recycled if you take them directly to the loading area and put into the cardboard bins. Please do not put them in the hall garbage cans since they can be recycled and take up too much space in garbage cans resulting in real garbage not fitting in. VIMY RIDGE TRIP 07: pril 07 marks a very special anniversary for Canada. It will be the 00th nniversary of the battle of Vimy Ridge. On the morning of pril 9th 97, all four divisions of the Canadian rmy successfully attacked the German stronghold at Vimy Ridge in France. The highest point of the ridge, Hill 5, where a monument now stands to honour Canada s fallen, was captured on that day by a bayonet charge against heavy German machine gun fire. For many, Vimy Ridge is seen as a defining moment when Canada truly became a nation. Dunbarton will be joining thousands of other Canadian students in pril 07 to mark the 00th nniversary of Vimy Ridge. THE DURHM REGION PRKINSON SOCIETY SCHORSHIP: The Durham Region Chapter of Parkinson Society Central and Northern Ontario is awarding a scholarship to a graduating secondary student in the 05-6 academic year. The applicant must be proceeding to postsecondary studies in a related life sciences field potentially leading to the study of Parkinson's or related neurological diseases. CREDITS OBTINED FROM OUTSIDE THE DURHM BORD: ny students taking courses outside of the Durham District School Board (ie. Private Schools, Catholic Board Night Schools), are reminded they must submit any report cards and final grades to the Guidance Office. ll marks must be on an official report card. There must be a Mident Number: (6 digit school number) on the report card so that the marks can be entered into the OUC system for universities and the OCS system for colleges. You are responsible for reporting the marks, not the school s themselves. GIR TK EMPOWERMENT DY is a one day pep rally that unites girls ages -8 across Ontario and empowers them to make their mark on the world. This event is being held on Wednesday, June, 06 at the Scarborough Convention Centre from 9:0 am to :0 pm at a cost of $5. per ticket. Musicians, Speakers & YouTube stars will be there.
