Book Discussion In Plain Sight Monday, July 4:30 p.m. For years Myra Rutledge and Annie de Silva, founding members of the Sisterhood, have funded an underground network run by former Supreme Court Justice Pearl Barnes to help women escape abusive relationships. When two of Barne s clients fail to report for their weekly check-in, the Sisterhood begins a search for them. Registered participants will be loaned a free copy of the book. Jim Kleefeld shares carefully researched tales like the Boy Who Loved Checkers, The Four Civil War Brothers and more. Attendees will see some of Kleefeld s personal collection of ghostly and unusual artifacts as well as handle strange antiques, learn about spiritualist powers and hear stories of scary events from the spirit world.
