He is a recognized international speaker in both passive self-ligation and miniscrew mechanics. He has contributed to numerous clinical technique guides and published multiple clinical articles and case reports on these topics as well as acceleration of tooth movement with alveolar microperforation. Dr. Pobanz has been actively involved in teaching at numerous study clubs, lecturing on TOMAS/BIORAY miniscrew mechanics. 9 If you have the extra time Guide to Local Entertainment Columbia River Gorge The Columbia River Gorge offers the most scenery in the shortest distance. You can see how the river cut through the Cascade Mountains. Experience many scenic waterfalls, a dam and fish ladder at Bonneville with a fish hatchery, wind surfing at Hood River (when it is warm), and a short drive over to snow capped Mount Hood and a chance to see Timberline Lodge. This is one big circle of about 130 miles in about 5-6 hours. Multnomah Falls Beautiful water and a great place to be. Great people and sight seeing. Do the hike to the very top of the water full and enjoy the view. Mt. Hood If you enjoy skiing and snowboarding, make some time and take a trip to Mt. Hood. This is the perfect time of year to enjoy some extra snow. Oregon Coast The Oregon coast is about 2 hours away and offers some magnificent scenic bluffs and high vistas for viewing. Seaside shopping abounds. The famous Tillamook cheese factory, in Tillamook, Oregon, offers a tour and samples. Mo s (famous for clam chowder) is a small restaurant chain in Newport, Cannon Beach, Lincoln City, and more towns along the coast. There is a Casino (Spirit Mountain Casino) along the way if you are into gambling. Evergreen Aviation, Space Museum, & Waterpark The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville where Howard Hughes SpruceGoose is now housed. Quite impressive!
