Discussion and possible decision on 2008 Bond Refinance Option John Stith explained the 2008 Bond Refinance Option to the Board for their consideration. No action was taken. IX. New Business Ms. Johnston discussed the following items of new business: Assoc. Supt. Eric Vowels and the Student Services Department have begun work on future redistricting. With the building of Cecilia Valley some redistricting will become necessary to even out the elementary school populations, as well as some high school and middle school populations. A recommendation will be made at a later date. At present, HCS students have missed 4 days due to inclement weather. The make-up schedule for those days will be February 15, March 11, May 6, and May 23. All future weather days will be made up by adding to the end of the calendar. January is School Board Appreciation Month. Mrs. Johnston read a quote from a Martin Luther King, Jr. speech and thanked the Board for their support and continued efforts to put students first in Hardin County.
