ActiveRH is our new program registration system. It will save you time, make registration a breeze and help keep you and your family organized. Its many benefits include being able to: Create your profile so future registrations are as simple as a point and click. Register from your smartphone or tablet. Search programs by location, participant age, category and more! View availability of activities and track your family s memberships. How do I create my account? Follow these three simple steps to create your account. STEP 1 Go to RichmondHill.ca/ActiveRH STEP 2 Click on Create an Account Request gymnasiums, meeting rooms, ice arenas and other facilities. Plan in advance and save your activity choices to your Wish List. Track and print your family s schedule from your dashboard. Sign up for text message alerts if a class or game is cancelled at the last minute. STEP 3 Fill in your personal information! How to Register TIPS: Manage your account! Renew your memberships, print receipts, manage your family s schedule and indicate your communication preferences to stay informed of Recreation and Culture programs and events. Step 1 Create your personalized ActiveRH account. Step 2 Find your programs and create a wish list of your top picks. Step 3 Login to ActiveRH, register for your selected programs and checkout. 2

3 New Camp Registration Process Our new recreation registration system, ActiveRH, has simplified camp registration for you. Each camp now has only one registration code. If you are registering for individual days, you no longer need a code for every day of camp. And, there are no more separate codes for before and after care. When registering for camp, indicate each day that you require before or after care. Extended care is available for children registered in select camps that run between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The extended childcare hours are 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Before and After Care program counsellors will walk children to the appropriate program rooms in the morning and will escort them back to the After Care program at the end of the day. Enter the camp code for the location of your choice. 2. Select the entire week or the individual days of your choice. 3. Select each day(s) you require before and/or after care. 4. Your child will learn basic mermaid skills using a mermaid monofin. This activity will include games and lots of underwater fun. Mermaid fin is provided (Female foot sizes 2-11; Male foot sizes 2-9). This camp will focus on player development in a challenging and positive environment. Campers will conduct experiments from the past and investigate amazing scientific discoveries in this hands-on program yrs $32.00/1 day Elgin West CC Fri Mar 16 9:00am-4:00pm Hockey and Sports Recreational hockey camp is the perfect way to have a blast during the March Break. This camp is all about non-competitive hockey fun. In the morning and afternoon, campers will spend time on the ice working on skills and drills. The rest of the day will be devoted to other sports. Campers must be able to skate and have full hockey equipment (including neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, jock/jill, hockey pants, shin pads, hockey jersey, hockey socks, CSA-approved helmet with facemask, hockey skates and hockey stick). A mouth guard is strongly recommended. Campers are dropped off and picked up at the Tom Graham Arena and will walk to and from the Richmond Green Sports Centre for other sports activities. 12 Full Day Programs The Director s Cut Lego stop-motion animation Get your Lego on at The Director s Cut Lego Stop Motion Animation workshop. Film-making crews will work together with a real Film-maker to create a stop-motion animation film that is sure to rival the works of Hollywood s most talented. Small crews will storyboard, script, build, design, capture and add sound effects, titles, voices and music, culminating in your own action-packed, dramatically-inspired comedy (or whatever you choose your movie to be about!) Participants will also create a digital comic book to go along with their movie. Participants will be using their own Lego from home. Parents and friends are invited to the Red Carpet Event on Friday where they can walk the red carpet with their film-makers. Participants will storyboard, write a script, learn all about camera angles and cinematography, before filming and editing their movies. Participants will also design posters and trailers to advertise their upcoming movies.
