7 HSA COURSE SCHEDULE SPRING 2015 HOW TO REGISTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION The Harlem School of the Arts accepts all students ages 2-18 without an audition. Register your child today for our quality education programs in Music, Dance, Theatre, and Visual Arts! Secure your place in your favorite classes. Registration for new and returning families opens January 5, THE REGISTRATION PROCESS 1. Choose a Class Review our online course catalog and schedule to choose a class. Applicants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to register. 2. Fill Out Forms Visit to download and complete the 3 required documents below: and complete all three required forms: Registration form Enrollment Policies Agreement Student Medical Form Digitally: print and complete the documents, then scan and to register@hsanyc.org Hard copy: Print and fill out forms and mail or drop them off in person at the HSA Registration Office, 645 St Nicholas Avenue, New York NY To ensure your child s enrollment, registration forms and fees must be received by January 24, Incomplete registration materials will not be accepted. 3. Pay Registration Fee A $40 annual registration fee for single students or $50 fee for families is due at the time of application. If you have already paid for fall you do not need to pay for spring. 8 HSA TUITION RATES SPRING 2015 Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Students and their families are encouraged to register for the entire year (fall and spring semesters) for both group classes and individual lessons in order to secure their place. Each semester is comprised of 16 sessions. Spring Semester: January 31 - June 6 (16 weeks) GROUP CLASSES* (Dance/Theatre/ Music) GROUP CLASSES* (Visual Arts) CLASS DURATION SPRING SEMESTER (16 weeks) mins $ mins $ mins $475 Ensembles* $175 * Ensembles are denoted by an (E) next to the classes that apply. 9 FINANCIAL INFORMATION Forms of Payment HSA accepts cash, cashier s checks, money orders, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover for tuition payments. HSA does not accept personal checks. Registration Fee There is a nonrefundable, registration fee of $40 for individuals and $50 for families due at the time of registration. Except where noted, tuition does not cover the cost of costumes, dress code attire, composition notebooks, instrument rental, and other supplies, although some instructional materials may be provided. Financial Aid Financial aid is available for full year enrollment only. The financial aid deadline for the school year was July 15, No late applications will be accepted. Flexible Tuition Payment Options* The Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) offers its families the flexibility of payment plan options, allowing the convenience of paying your tuition in full or in installments over the year. Regardless of your chosen payment option, the first tuition payment is due by September 4, 2014 and all tuition for the Fall 2014 term must be paid in full no later than October 15, Tuition for Spring 2015 semester is due two weeks before class begins and can be paid as follows: 1. Pay tuition in full - 1 single payment by January Pay tuition in 2 payments Payment #1 due Jan 24 Payment #2 due Mar 15 * These plans require enrolmment in our auto-payment plan system.
