Preserving your photos doesn t have to be complicated or take a lot of time! Learn the basics of album-making in one evening selecting, cropping, journaling and enhancing your photos. Then, give it a try by creating your very own Short Story Card using your photos! Please bring with you 2 or 3 common-themed photos to use on your card. By the end of the night you will have a Short Story Card to display or to place into your album! We will also discuss safe photo storage as well as photo organization. In this hands-on class you will start organizing your photos and learn how simple it is to preserve your family s memories in an organized fashion. By the end of the evening your photos will be safely preserved and organized, and ready to be placed into an album. You will also learn just how easy and simple it can be to create an album celebrating those special moments in life! How can you help your child have better homework and study skills? Is your child too busy and over-scheduled and cannot find time to study for tests? Does your child know what to study or do they study the wrong material? Is your child just a poor test taker? Is your child s schoolwork, projects or tests becoming yours? Does your child have good time management skills? Are you worried about how your teen will perform in college? Good organization, homework and study skills are the most important abilities to master for school success. This session will be lead by professional with years of training in organization and time management. They will discuss practical strategies to help you implement these good learning habits and have these become part of your life. Saturday, March 31, 2007 ARE YOU READY FOR THE SAT? In the time it takes to play a football game or shop for a new pair of jeans, the SAT can determine your academic future. It is important to prepare both long and short-term for this college entrance exam. This workshop will introduce you to the format of the SAT and discuss how you can prepare in order to reach your desired score. We will review the Critical Reading, Mathematics and Writing sections, including the essay. We will also talk about the college admissions process and building a portfolio. This session is intended for high school juniors & seniors, planning to take the Spring SAT. 6 6 EACH PERSON WHO REGISTERS MUST HAVE HIS OR HER OWN REGISTRATION FORM CAMP PERKIOMY 2007 June 25 to August 17 In order to provide the best experience possible for all of our campers, the 2006 camp program has been thoroughly evaluated. The 2007 Camp Perkiomy season will be an 8-week program, with daily operation Monday Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Camp will be held at 3 locations - Arrowhead, Audubon, and Eagleville schools. All of our camp locations will accommodate camper s ages Fees for 2007 are: *(Includes all trips) $500 Resident $475 for each additional child in family $590 for Non Township Residents CAMP PERKIOMY REGISTRATION Camp registration will be based on a first-come, firstserve basis. Registration will begin on WEDNES- DAY, JANUARY 17, Mail in registration will be accepted. Additional registration forms are available on our website at or you may register at The Township Building between the hours of 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m. All forms must be filled out completely, and checks made payable to Lower Providence Township, must be included for your registration to be honored. Space is limited so register early. Camp T-shirts will be given out the first day of camp. **NO REFUNDS** There will be NO refunds given for Camp Perkiomy unless cancellation for camp is given in writing 15 days prior to the camp start date of June 25, All cancellations are subject to a $50 processing fee.
