1 St. Patrick Interparish School 2018 Summer Fun Camp St. Patrick Interparish School Summer Fun Day Camp Gloria Wessels, Director June 4, 2018 thru August 3, :30 a.m. 6:00 p.m. PK4 Kindergarten: $115 per week 1 st - 8 th Grades: $135 per week (1 st child) $125 per week (2 nd child) $115 per week (3 rd child) Non-refundable deposit of $ for PK4 - K and $ for 1 st 8th is due by April 30, 2018 to reserve your child a spot in camp. This deposit will go towards your child s first week attending camp. Fees are due on the Monday of each week your child attends camp. (Please note registering on time helps us determine how many camp counselors to hire to ensure a safe and wonderful summer with your child!) For any questions, please contact: Mrs. Wessels at wesselsg@stpatrickschoolgnv.org. Summer Day Camp is available for children PK4 8 th grades. PK4 K will have plenty to do with their busy hands enjoying our different thematic units of arts and crafts, splash fun day, etc. 1 st 8 th grades will enjoy activities consisting of arts/crafts, games, special breakfast/luncheons, and field trips Tuesday through Friday. Field trips consist of swimming on Tuesday and Thursday and bowling on Wednesday. Friday s are our special event field trips. Come and join us for a fun filled summer! Don t need a full week of camp, but need help filling the gap keeping your children occupied with fun? We offer a daily rate of $35 per child. 2 Sports Camp Soccer Camp Taught by Coach: Tristan Williams June 4 8, 2018 Girls and Boys Grades: Junior Under 10: 9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. Middle 10 and Older: 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. $135 Fundamental skills will be taught in an environment that is conducive to both the growth and development of each player. It just so happens that the first three letters of the word fundamental spell FUN. Each activity will be in a fun filled atmosphere, where the players will learn and have fun doing so. If there is an enrollment of players for each camp, a World Cup format, that is a blast, will be introduced. Players will learn passing, dribbling and finishing techniques, change of direction moves, 1 vs 1, how to beat an opponent and a myriad of others. Basketball Camp Taught by Coach: Justin Powe June 11 15, :00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Upcoming 4 th - 8 th Grades Girls and Boys $135 Camp goals are teaching players the fundamentals of the game: Improving shooting techniques Defensive stance and positions Ball handling dribbling, passing, etc. Scrimmage games 2

3 Volleyball Camp Taught by Coach: Tensi Craig June 18 22, :00 a.m. 11:00 p.m. 4 th 8 th Grade Girls Cost: $135 This will be an intensive five day camp that focuses on developing skills such as serving, serve receiving, setting, hitting, and passing. Students who hold these skills already will be improving their techniques to provide the best results on the court. Kids will be put into a line up and game like situation, and will be practicing the position they choose. We will be scrimmaging every day for the last thirty minutes. Science Enrichment Camp Creative Cooking with Chemistry Taught by Teacher Jennine Jordan June 4 June 8, :30 a.m. 1:30 p.m. 4 th 8 th Grades Cost: $135 Non-refundable payment of $135 is due by April 30, 2018 (Before and after camp care is available for an additional $25). How much science can you use when cooking? Experimenting can be exciting and fun. Come and join us in the FUN of being creative and discovering how much chemistry you can learn in the kitchen. 4 Math Learning Lab Taught by Teacher Tensi Craig June 18 28, 2018 (Monday thru Thursday) 1:00 3:00 p.m. Cost: $150 (Teacher Recommendation Required and only for St. Patrick School Students) Non-refundable deposit of $100 is due by April 30, The remaining balance of $50 is due by May 31, (Before and after camp care is available for The Math Learning Lab will be offering a summer math remediation camp that will focus on skills taught during the school year. Teacher recommendation is required to take this class. This is a two week camp and is not prorated per week. Reading Learning Lab Taught by Teachers: Laura Brewer and Alisa McCann July 16 27, 2018 (Monday thru Thursday) 9:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Cost: $200 (Teacher Recommendation Required and only for St. Patrick School Students) Non-refundable deposit of $100 is due by April 30, The remaining balance of $100 is due by May 31, (Before and after camp care is available for The Reading Learning Lab will be offering a summer reading remediation camp that will focus on phonological awareness, phonics, reading fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Teacher recommendation is required to take this class. This is a two week camp and is not prorated per week. 4
