This annual holiday favorite brings together over 150 musicians from Case Western Reserve University and the Church of the Covenant along with the Cleveland Guitar Orchestra for a program of sing-along Christmas carols and other holiday music. A Christmas cookie reception follows the concert. Friends of the McGaffin Carillon in University Circle Euclid Avenue (free parking, refreshments for purchase) Noon, 1:00, 2:00 & 3:00 p.m. - Christmas and Hanukkah Music on the Carillon 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30 p.m. - Tower Tours. Building 2 is a unique, 100-year-old house, shaped like a 6-pack! Come see! A home-made gingerbread replica of the building will be on display and sold through a raffle. Shop for holiday decorations and gifts, made by our guests - organ transplant patients and caregivers. On sale will be high quality jewelry, knitted goods (including darling Christmas stockings), ornaments, baked goods, and other small gifts. Join us for caroling around our piano and hot chocolate. Each year, our friends at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage join us at the Cleveland History Center for this spectacular University Circle-wide celebration of the holidays. Make this family day meaningful by learning about the customs of the celebration of light through live music, make & take crafts, make & give blankets for veterans, and more. 7 Little Italy Holiday Art Walk Friday, December 1, 5:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, Noon-9:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, Noon-5:00 p.m. Holiday CircleFest coincides with Little Italy s Holiday Art Walk. Take the CircleLink shuttle directly to Little Italy and enjoy the ambiance of Cleveland s oldest neighborhood. Cafes and bakeries, shops, and restaurants will be open all afternoon. Additional paid parking options are available, and Little Italy s main street is just a short walk from MOCA Cleveland and the Transplant House in Uptown. More information is available at littleitalycle.com. Cops in the Community Winter Hat & Glove Drive Donate new hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves for the children of Mary M. Bethune School in Glenville. Cash donations are also accepted. Look for the UCPD cruiser at the following locations: FREE Holiday CircleFest Shuttle Sunday, December 3, 12:30-6:30 p.m. Getting around Holiday CircleFest is easy with the free shuttle bus! Simply hop on where you see the red signs, ride the shuttle to your desired destination, then hop off. A full loop on the shuttle takes approximately 30 minutes. A map and a list of shuttle stops (noted in red) can be found on page 12. FREE Neighborhood Circulator Sunday, December 3, Noon-6:30 p.m. Residents and visitors in Fairfax, Glenville, and Hough can get to Holiday CircleFest with the newly added neighborhood circulator. Stops include InterContinental Hotel in Fairfax, Fatima Family Center in Hough, and Cleveland Public Library Langston Hughes Branch in Glenville.
