Holiday music will be performed by Fox River Academy of Music & Art Gingerbread House Competition & Food Drive Friday, December 5th - 5:00-8:30 p.m. Hosted by the Oswego Chamber of Commerce Come pick your favorite gingerbread house from the community entries. Please bring non-perishable food items for the Kendall County Food Pantry. The Oswego Chamber of Commerce is also hosting a 50/50 Raffle for $5 each, proceeds will also benefit the Kendall County Food Pantry. Toyland Train rides - train stops on Main at Van Buren and Jefferson - sponsored by the Oswego Chamber of Commerce Sledding Hill (Giant Slide) - Main St. at Jackson Ice Carving Demonstrations by Chicago Ice Works p.m. Our Savior Lutheran Church will be doing caricatures for kids and children s bibles will be handed out. Help support the Outlaws 16uJZ girls softball team, basket raffles, prizes and baked good for sale. Bring your dog to the Paws in Time booth for treats and to learn how we can help you and your dog this holiday season. Visit APS Beaty to snap a holiday selfie - grab a prop and a friend and enter the product raffle. Stop in at Second Born Consignment/The Joyful Giraffe to create a holiday card for a hospitalized child. Plus $5 off a purchase of $30 or more, friday night only. OYTF is Oswego 308 s largest and longest running youth football and cheer program, visit them to learn more. Dominion Martial Arts/Grind 180 will host a bonfire, smore s and information about their programs including 2 week free trials, anti-bullying and self worth promoting. Visit the USA Swim School booth to learn more about their programs. Girl Scout Troop #494 will be singing Christmas Carols. Celebrating winter across the world. World Class 308 is a group of families that celebrate the cultural differences among us and advocate for differences. Oswego Boy Scout Troop 63 will host a fundraiser - natural holly sprigs (mistletoe) and hot spiced cider sales at the Masonic Lodge and Garden Faire. Junior Girl Scout Troop #4942 will be singing holiday carols to add to the cheer of the season. Visit the Oswego Family YMCA booth! Cute necklaces, bracelets and earrings to get you in the festive spirit. Troop 4973 Junior Girl Scouts will be selling homemade baked goods. The Oswego Juniorettes will be selling scarves, Christmas cupcakes and ornaments to raise money for local charities. Visit Rondi s S.E.L.F. Fitness and experience the personal attention you deserve. Make your own reindeer food with Oswegoland Park District s As We Grow Preschool. Oswego Outlaws 16u will host a bake sale and trinkets sale to fundraise for the World Series. Fox River Academy and Studio 60 will provide a free holiday art activity from 5:30-8:30pm. Celebrate Differences will have everyone's favorite yellow sponge walking around. Kids visit our Reindeer Food Bar and make your own reindeer food to lure Santa's reindeer to your house on Christmas Eve! 5:30-8 p.m. - The Garden Faire A Visit with Santa at the Garden Faire - please bring your camera to capture that special moment! Fox River Academy violin stuents will perform Win an adorable stuffed puppy just in time for Christmas! Help fund the Oswego Dog Park, hosted by the Oswego Park & Recreation Foundation. Old Fire Station #1 Visit Oswegoland Women s Civic Club for their Traditional Christmas Cookie Sale Stop by the Adventures in Learning booth for a photo opportunity to become a superhero or princess. Visit Village President Candidate Terry Michels to discuss and share ideas, concerns and vision for Oswego. Vote Local! -Make sure your voice is heard in the most important election in Register to vote and find out about early voting options. Last election cycle, only 11% of our community s population decided the leadership in our schools, village and public services. We need to hear from you when it counts! V.I.P Service Dog Foundation will offer christmas toys for the dogs, fleece blankets and Christmas candy for sale. Stop by for a seasonal showcase of local performers. After the parade, everyone s favorite Frozen princesses will be meeting fans. Hosted by the Oswegoland Park District 7:00 p.m. - Downtown Illuminated Silent Fire Truck Parade - Parade Route: Line-up at District 308 Center, to Jackson Street, to Monroe Street, to Jefferson Street, through Five Corners to Main Street, to Van Buren Street, and return to Disitrict 308 Center. Saturday, December 6th 8:00-11:00 a.m. - Oswego Family YMCA, 160 E. Washington Street Breakfast with Santa hosted by the Rotary Club of Oswego, Oswego YMCA, Oswegoland Senior Center, and Fox River Academy of Music and Art. Tickets are $5 each and include breakfast, pictures with Santa, children s games, crafts and a cake walk. Coats for Kendall Collection - bring coats, hats, mittens, and gloves. Phil Siedlecki, school bus operator for Dist. 308, will be on hand, operating his Polar Express train set, as well as two Christmas elves visiting from the North Pole.
