With over 63 acres of parklands in South Daytona, there is something for everyone to enjoy: Nature parks, pavilion rentals, fishing piers, playgrounds, disc golf, boat ramp, kayak launch, walking trails, ball fields, grills, tennis, racquetball & basketball courts, splash park and scenic lakes. Many are equipped with lighted paths for night use and all are handicap accessible.

3 SOUTH DAYTONA SPECIAL EVENTS 19TH ANNUAL 5K RUN This 3.1 mile run winds through the streets of South Daytona beginning and ending at James Park, 1700 James Street. Race will be chip timed. Proceeds to benefit Atlantic High School s STAR program (Students Together for Autism Recognition). Date: Saturday, September 16, 2017 Time: 8:00 a.m. Check-In: Beginning at 7:00 a.m. $25.00 through Sept. 14th $30.00 after Sept. 14th 10TH ANNUAL KAILYNNE QUARTIER MEMORIAL RIDE Date: Saturday, September 16, 2017 Time: 10:00 a.m. Escorted Ride Registration: In advance or day of starting at 8:30 a.m. Start Location: South Daytona Police Department 1672 S. This festival will feature a backyard division BBQ competition, live entertainment, great food, a kid zone, vendors and more! 5 ADULT RECREATION PROGRAMS PAW PAW CHAPTER OF THE NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY This local chapter is a great way to educate yourself about native plants and landscapes. The chapter hosts meetings, field excursions, guest speakers, community service projects and more.
