1 DANCE The City of Brampton dance programs emphasize fun and fitness while stressing the importance of proper dance technique. Participants will gain confidence in their abilities while enjoying the benefits of exercise and classroom participation. Classes are offered at a variety of levels in either a recital or non-recital based program. NON-RECITAL DANCE Participants 3 years of age to adult can take a nonrecital dance class without the commitment of a recital performance. Participants must be the required age by the last day of the program. Comfortable clothing and appropriate indoor footwear are recommended. RECITAL DANCE Runs from September to May for students ages 4 to adult. Rehearsal will be held the week of May 6 10, 2018 and the recital will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 and Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the Rose Theatre. Tickets must be purchased at an additional cost for each recital performance. Costume fees vary depending on age and class level and do not include specific footwear. Please note that participants are required to successfully complete a two-year program at each level before proceeding. Participants must be the required age by December 31, Participants are required to wear proper dance attire during their lessons.
