1 VETTE SETTE Newsletter of the Oklahoma City Corvette Club Established Years of Tradition and Corvette Enjoyment October Edition, 2017 GOVERNOR S REPORT: The Oklahoma City Corvette Club/ Corvette Club of OKC has a combined Membership of 100. For the month of September, our September blast Autocross was cancelled and rescheduled for Nov 4&5 th. IT S RENEWAL TIME! Please try to get your forms to me sooner than later. Being new at this I want to make sure no one slips through the cracks. By the time you read this I ll have attended the 3rd regional governors meeting for the year. I ll update everyone at the next meeting and November s newsletter. Our next event is Oct 21&22. 7 Low speeds in Edmond and 3 Drag events at Thunder Valley. Afterwards on Oct 28&29th 14 Low speeds at the Houston Police Academy. And Back to Edmond for our rescheduled event, the first weekend of November. (4&5th). And then back down to Texas in Mineral Wells for 14 more Low speed Autocrosses on Nov.18&19 th. In preparation for next year s Convention, everyone should consider our last event of the year on Dec 1st thru the 3rd. Dec 1st will be a high speed practice on NOLA s road course with 14 Low Speed events Saturday and Sunday on their skid pad. That s all for now, Paul 59th NCCC Annual Convention New Orleans, LA. 7/15/18 7/20/18 In 2018, the Southwest Region is hosting the NCCC Convention. Volunteers are needed to help work our events. Three of our OCCC members are Chairs and would appreciate your support. Chris Gann Tech Chairman 8 10 people needed. At this time, tech is scheduled for Sunday, July 15 and Monday morning July 16.
