1 No.1414/17/25-A1-1 Government of India Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (Department of Personnel & Training) North Block, New Delhi Dated RDR Whereas, this Department in the wake of Hon'ble High ourt of Punjab and Haryana order dated in WP No.1578/2 in the case of Praveen Kumar, an tate ivil ervice officer of Punjab cadre Vs Union of India and as confirmed by Hon'ble upreme ourt, issued notification dated for making amendment in the respective seniority regulations for IA/I P/IFo. These amendments were however made applicable to the elect Lists prepared as per the ratio laid down in the case of Praveen Kumar and accordingly, seniority/year of allotment of the officers included in the said elect Lists were determined as per the amended seniority regulations. 2. And whereas consequent upon dismissal of LP No of 21 and Review Petition No /217 filed by DoPT in the case of F.R. Jamadar and other connected court cases filed by the Ministry of Home Affairs viz. A No.441 of 21 UI Vs Kailash handra Agarwal & rs, A No.81 of 21 UI Vs Arvind Kumar harda & rs, A No.82 of 21 UI Vs Keval Krishna Indoria & rs, A No.13 of 21 UI Vs R.A. anjeev and WP () No. 31 of 21 -N.K.. hauhan Vs UI, this Department vide M No. No.1414/14/214-AI-1 dated has decided to apply the amended seniority regulations prospectively i.e. w.e.f And whereas, this Department vide M No.1414/14/214-A1-1 dated has decided that eniority/year of allotment of officer appointed after against the vacancies arisen between to may be fixed as per pre-amended seniority rules throughout the adres. 4. And whereas, further, this Department vide M No.1414/14/214-AI-1 dated has also decided to count the service of the officer rendered in the rank of Deputy ollector or equivalent upto the 31st December of the vacancy year against which he has been appointed to the IA. 5.
