7 Three Components of Child Care Enrollment at JBLM 7 Step 1: MilitaryChildCare.com (MCC.com) DoD Waitlist System Register with MilitaryChildCare.com from anywhere in the world to request care at a JBLM Child and Youth Services (CYS) center and get placed on the waitlist Once registered, MCC.com provides an anticipated placement time (APT) based on family priority and spaces available for specific age groups and requested location(s). This is only an estimate - placement times can fluctuate both down and up. Parents are responsible to manage the MCC.com waitlist and are required to reconfirm request every 30 days MCC.com generates all notifications via Offers and reminders Once offer is extended by MCC.com, parent must contact Parent Central Services by phone or in person within 2 business days to make an appointment to complete enrollment requirements or space will be offered to next family on the waitlist MCC.com is a stand-alone database and only used to manage the CYS waitlist; it does not automatically enroll your child in CYS
8 Three Components of Child Care Enrollment at JBLM 8 Step 2: Register your children with JBLM CYS at Parent Central Services (Bldg Bitar Ave./ ): Families should immediately register their children soon after they arrive at JBLM. The following information/documents are required: DoD ID Card Contact information for home and work Two local emergency contacts Official shot record history from physician or medical facility Full month of most recent LES or paystubs or proof of full time student To expedite registration, families can begin the process using WebTrac: ( Basic household information may be entered into the site and most required forms are available to download and complete.
9 Three Components of Child Care Enrollment at JBLM 9 Step 2: CYS Registration Continued All paperwork must be completed prior to the child s enrollment Registration appointments are recommended by not required Public computers are available at Parent Central Services and staff is available to assist with MCC.com registration and WebTrac pre-registration If all required paperwork is completed prior to an offer of placement from MCC.com, the child can start as soon as a CYS center orientation is completed
10 Three Components to Child Care Enrollment at JBLM 10 Step 3: Only need Hourly Care, SKIES Classes or Youth Sports? Do NOT register in MCC.com Families should register their children with CYS as soon as services are anticipated The following information/documentation is required: DoD ID Card Contact information for home and work Two local emergency contacts Official shot record history from your physician or medical facility Once registered with CYS, families may request hourly care and/or sign up for SKIES and Sports Activities using WebTrac:
